When's your book coming out?
Heh, heh.
A right-wingnut I know predicted that the Iraqis will erect statues of Bush in the near future.
I doubt that, but I had to agree with him that Bush did a hell of a lot more for the Iraqi people than he ever did for the American people.
Some people on JREF need to be educated about the term "war monger"!
Calling Bush the worst president in history is one of the greatest lies Liberals have ever told.

.I nominated it the moment I saw it, if that makes you feel any better...
That one should qualify for an entirely different type of nomination ...Bringing democracy to an Arab country? ... It always was that. US policy was to transition Iraq into a democracy. The policy was voted in under Clinton in 1998.

Your post is looking up at Paulie and waving.
It is clear from some of Grim's examples that Bush relied on other people's books for direct quotes of some conversations. Gen. Tommy Franks' recollection, for instance, of one national security team meeting included quotes from both Bush and Franks that are repeated identically in Decision Points. Not the narrative, mind you, but the quotes. It certainly seems that, in the course of putting the book together, Bush's researchers checked the quotes against Franks' book and adjusted them to match, on the presumption that Franks' account was accurate.
But what's wrong with that? Again, is Bush supposed to credit someone else for capturing his own words? It seems like small beer.
But can George read it?
