General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

Chris Rose
@ArchRose90

On GB News, Christopher Hope reports that Reform UK expects even more political donations coming soon.

I hope so. I will never get bored of the hysterical, hypocritical gibberish from Labour.

Yeah, but we just don't know what all those millions of union members and individual donors told Labour leaders they expected in return, over their champagne and oysters.

I can confirm that, as a good NUPE, then Unison, member, I never had champagne (or any other sort of wine) and oysters (or any other marine bivalves) with any Labour party leader ever and also that certain Labour leaders will not have wanted to hear my opinions, despite me always paying the political levy.

As ever, I will point out that I twice had the opportunity to vote directly for Blair (once in the party leadership election as a union member and once in Sedgefield constituency) and both times I voted for someone else.

When the authorities fail to protect their own, when they turn on the people they swore an oath to protect and serve, it falls to the strong Patriots of this country who have the courage to do something different.

We will build the biggest voting bloc this country has ever seen. It is time we stopped handing our support to political parties simply because they ask for it. Stay independent until the moment comes. Then back whoever is actually best suited. Giving these parties the unearned generosity of our vote right now makes no sense.

The Patriot platform is a resistance movement. It will become the biggest pushback the men and women of this country have delivered since the Second World War. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Lawfully. Peacefully

Danny, the WW2 resistance you hug so dearly was neither peaceful nor lawful, and very deliberately so. They ambushed, sabotaged, bombed, strangled and shot people, among a lot of other ungentlemanly activities. And it happened entirely in Europe, not in the UK.

Oh wait...

Are you thinking the "resistance" was the handful of failed Nazi spies captured by the Brits and turned on their masters? That side?

BECTU and now Prospect, here. No fizz, no oysters. I did meet John Smith once. Knew his daughter at uni. I offered no opinions other than it was nice to meet him.

Oh: Mrs by the Hedge met Blair, while one of them was PM. She gave him her opinion about the difficulty in recruiting degree-qualified physics teachers (that you couldn't just teach physics; you had to teach biology and chemistry too as general science. That put her off and she taught maths instead.) She did say he made an engagingly impressive show of interest and had one of his entourage take notes.

Funnily enough their 'agreement' with the French Facist Leader doesn't seem to have gone down terribly well with the other French Fascists.
As I've said before: fascism seems to be mainly powered by what they are against, not what they're for. This is why they come to blows as soon as they reach the giddy heights of power as a town councillor.

John Crace isn't a fan of Richard Tice.

There again, Nige is keen not to appear as a one-man band these days and he could do with some downtime to enjoy his own £5m handout. And besides, he’s got a police investigation into Reform party funding to worry about. Even so, it wasn’t the best of looks to send Richard Tice out on to the morning media round. Dicky may have his talents, but he keeps them well concealed. His main talent is the unfortunate ability to make Honest Bob Jenrick sound trustworthy. But he does always leave you guessing. Is he being wilfully stupid or is he naturally that half witted?

So Putin's tried to kill Boris Johnson? Too little too late, you'll not get on our good side like that!

Not really, despite what lying liar BlowJob might claim: it was another train on the same line which was hit by a drone strike.

There were actual proper political figures evacuated from that one, not self-important Terries who have even less relevance now than they ever did, which was none.

Go back to making buses from boxes, you utter numpty! (Not you, PJ, obviously.)
