Evidence? Not even the NGOs claim numbers even half that high.
The last time I had this argument with bkerdruid he linked to a source he said supportd his claim, but which actually came very close the the IDF number.

I thought he'd learned something then, but apparently I was wrong.

Biker Druid is against the killing of "innocents", but since we all know he thinks the Jews are "guilty" of stealing Palestinian land (which would make them not "innocents"), so therefore he is perfectly happy to give his support to Hamas and their genocidal policy.

He's found a semantic loophole.

You appear to be stuck in a reflexively non-judgemental stance, trying to appear sophisticated by hand waving away the indefensible because they are disadvantaged.

Oh, ya, I'm pretty sure I appear that way to you too!

Whether that is in fact the case, well... let's not try to reconcile the irreconcilable!

That doesn't answer my question, but that's OK, I just found it funny how you substituted the "killing of Jews" with "the killing of innocents", as if the killing of Jews was alright.

Definitely the most reasonable interpretation of his words. Why won't glenn beck address the accusations that he killed a girl in 1990 bikerdruid address the accusations that he supports the murder of jews for being jews?

So you won't explain or defend your remarks?

Revealing...

I know, I'm just not sure I have a legitimate partner for peace. So what would be the point?

Typically those eager to make comparisons to the Nazis are not such partners.

Hint: if you want to honestly engage in good faith with me maybe pay attention to my posts, and refrain from making such silly comparisons. You know, the whole reason I started posting in this thread was to highlight my disdain for such approaches!

Murder of Jews, or war against "occupiers", it's all the same for some people.

nothing about changes to the likud platform/charter in there?

its just a general press release from bibi.. or is it in there somewhere and I can't find it??
It's not a general press release from bibi. It's the Likud platform.

I figured you'd know where to look to see if something in that platform had changed from the one you were quoting from. I find that it is common for political parties to simply publish updates to their platforms, rather than stating what in their new platform has changed from the previous platform(s). There's no change log.

ok...I've read the whole thing and can find nothing about Israels attitude to a palestinian state. If this is their new platform they appear to have gone from "no state under any circumstances" ....to not talking about it....?

The first issue, National Security, talks about the Likud position on the peace process.

http://en.netanyahu.org.il/Themes-of/security/

But you're right, it doesn't specifically discuss a "Palestinian state".

Don't get me wrong. Likud is a far-right political party that takes a hard line to the detriment of the Palestinians. However, they are but one party in the Knesset, holding less than 25% of the seats.

Israel as a whole has moved to the right in recent years when it comes to the Palestinians, and I wish they'd take a more far-sighted view of the situation. Eventually they will need to make peace with Palestinians.

I disagree. If Israel doesn't figure out a way to make peace with their Arab neighbors, their Arab citizens are probably not going to make nice with their Jewish citizens once the Israeli Arabs come close to becoming the majority race in Israel. And then I don't want to imagine what kind of ugly things might happen.

Peace is more in Israel's interest than the Palestinians' interest, in the long run.
