It's nice to see you declaring victory but of course the point is that the second intifada most certainly did include suicide bombings aimed at Jews.

really? there were suicide bombings in Israel during the 2nd Intifada? wow, I had no idea. ;)

Can we take it that you are sanguine about all terrorist murders and not merely those against Jews?

wow, that's almost as bad as how I was called a Nazi-collaborator yesterday.

nice job being civil.

I never called you a Nazi collaborator.

Of course it has already been established that you do not believe the Facebook page that says only peaceful protests will occur in the next intifada. You are not so naiive as to think there won't be rock throwing. You are naiive enough, however, to believe that there won't be terrorist attacks. And it is clear to all that you are more outraged by words you put in the mouth of the ADL than you are of the inevitable consequences of an intifada. This is what I mean about being sanguine. Either that or you have a very screwed up set of priorities.

I never called you a Nazi collaborator.

you know, sometimes I really wonder. I really...really wonder.

....angrysoba, I never said that YOU called me a Nazi-collaborator.

oy....friggin'....vey.

wrong again, bud. I simply want the Arabic translated. I have no way of knowing if the claims are true or not. that's why I want it translated, so I can know for sure.

Then how is it relevant to tell me you were called a Nazi collaborator? Is this a bid for sympathy? Please stop with these diversionary tactics.

I'm sorry, I just don't have the patience for your silly questions anymore. bye bye.

Missing the bleedin' point again you are!

You say the Facebook page calls for "peaceful protests", the ADL say the Facebook page calls for "peaceful protests" and I say the Facebook page calls for "peaceful protests". The point is that neither I nor the ADL (or you for that matter) think an intifada will be limited to peaceful protests.

What's so difficult for you to understand?

Petah Tikva - Founded in 1878.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petah_Tikva

Petah Tikva was founded in 1878 by religious pioneers from Europe, who were led by Yehoshua Stampfer, Moshe Shmuel Raab, Yoel Moshe Salomon, Zerach Barnett, and David Gutmann, as well as Lithuanian Rabbi Aryeh Leib Frumkin.[2] It was the first modern Jewish agricultural settlement in Ottoman Palestine and has since grown to become one of Israel's most populous urban centres.

Originally intending to establish a new settlement in the Achor Valley, near Jericho, the pioneers purchased land in that area. However, the Turkish Sultan cancelled the purchase and forbade them from settling there, but they retained the name Petah Tikva as a symbol of their aspirations.

----------------

1878 No Palestinians.

1948-1967 - No Palestinians

When did the PLO begin? (Palestinian Liberation Organization)

Did the Palestinians drop down from Mars?

That Hamas considers stabbing an entire family to death, including children and a baby, a "natural response" tells us quite a bit about Hamas, in case its holocaust denial, etc., didn't quite make it sink in.

The PA is currently in negotiations for a "unity government" with Hamas.

'queers for palestine' speak out

Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism (QUIT), are a courageous group that places empathy for the plight of palestinains above personal interests.
their website is excellent.
http://www.quitpalestine.org/

an example from the website:

Israeli Government Out of Our Film Festival!
For the first time since 2007, the Israeli Consulate is a sponsor of the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival. Queer communities have been targeted by the "Brand Israel" campaign as a receptive audience, and a useful cloak for Israel's oppressive policies. But we are not so desperate for acceptance that we will ally ourselves with racists and murderers.

no, but by 1948... 600,000 Jews dropped in from Europe.

:)

You are correct. The 600,000 represented 10% of the 6,000,000 Jews that were murdered.

The Jewish refugees went to Israel which was occupied by fellow Jews for many, many years.

Should Israel return the hundreds of thousand Ethiopian black Jews and the 1,500,000 Russian Jews?

Notice that the Jews do not live in refugee camps.

Your solution to the Jew Problem?

...which seems to mean that they don't give a damn about homosexuals being prosecuted and killed in the Palestinian authority, let alone in Hamas-controlled Gaza strip, so long as they can bash Israel.

"Queers for Palestine" and its clones makes as much sense as "Jews for Hitler" or "Blacks for the KKK". It's beyond parody.

.......ridiculous analogies.:boggled:
the hundreds of palestinian children killed in the last major offensive were not responsible for their parent's politics.

Wow. Pressing the appeal to emotion button pretty hard. Easier than making an actual argument anyway. Something like "you shouldn't fight people if kids will get killed" won't hold up for very long, so I suppose there's a certain twisted wisdom in just mouthing "won't somebody think of the children!" as above.

Here is bikerduid's reaction to the murder of a family of five by (presumably) a Palestinian terrorist in the west bank, including two children and a baby:

ah...they stole the land they were on....that explains it. israeli settlers have no business in the west bank.

Apparently, it is OK after all to kill some children, who can be held responsible for their parent's politics.

So long as it's only Jewish children, of course.

in that thread i never defended the murderers.
the murder of children is never justified.
an individual was responsible for that, not all palestinians.
in 2008, in gaza, hundreds of children were killed, by israeli military, in the name of all israelis.
the two situations are not similar.

You're off topic. Skeptic is talking about the mistreatment of homosexuals in Palestinian territories, which is perfectly on topic.

Your complain about children getting killed during Cast Lead is off topic, unless these kids were homosexuals, and were specifically targeted by Israel because of their orientation.
