I don't know why you would expect my answer to 'where did they go?' to be any different than it was last week? If the evidence that their bodies were buried at the transit camps is insufficient or nonexistent, then we cannot conclude their bodies were buried at the transit camps. If they were not buried at the transit camps, they went somewhere else. I have suggested looking in places where European Jews emigrated to after the war if you're looking for living Jews. If you've never looked for dead Jews at these sites, I would suggest doing that first before assuming they are there. Fortunately you have the lovely Ms Colls on top of it. It will be interesting to see what she comes up with. But beyond that I have no further interest in the whereabouts of any missing Jews.

Hypothetically speaking, if you could be convinced that hundreds of thousands of Jews had not been buried at the transit/death camps--and I don't know what that standard of evidence would be for you. But if overwhelming evidence were produced that convinced you that these people had never been buried at these sites, would you still believe they had been killed there?

Wherever you think you are off to with your smarmy remarks about Sturdy Colls, let's focus on your claims for ethnic cleansing, by the UN definition, for what happened in Vilna. In that case, we have shown a great deal of evidence for Jews being taken from Vilna to Ponar where they were executed by shooting; we have evidence concerning: who was taken, from where, when, by whom, by what means, to where, and how the executions were carried out. At the same time, we have not seen one piece of evidence for these Jews, other than a handful of survivors whom the Germans intended but failed to kill, leaving Ponar. And going someplace else. No witnesses, no documents, no one - let alone large numbers of individuals - turning up somewhere after the war.

If your claim - population removal - is correct, then you should be able to show us evidence of these Jews leaving Ponar alive - not to mention ending up somewhere else. This is the case whether you care or not.

I am not sure why you'd think I expect you finally to answer this question - especially when the post of mine you quoted acknowledges you won't and explains the cost of your not doing so to your stance. By no means do I expect your non-answer to change. That this non-answer damages your cause is no worry of mine. I was just reminding the readers of this forum that you offer no defense, weeks gone by, of your claim about ethnic cleansing in Vilna.

I can also tell you why you won't change your non-answer to an explanation: it's not because of any of the transparent excuses, obfuscations, and dodges you toss around. It's because you have no explanation. You have nothing other than empty claims and questions in reply to questions and silly excuses.

Looked at the report.. 'One might even call this the Madeline Albright phenomenon. Ms. Albright supposedly only learned of her family's prewar Jewish-Czech identity after she herself had been raised as a Roman Catholic in the U.S. and had risen to become Secretary of State. Although her parents had come to a supposedly religion tolerant society, they did not resume their jewish identity and raised their daughter as a Christian instead. Any other living Jewish relatives of Ms. Albright apparently remained silent or out of contact as well.

According to here There are almost 9,5 million british people of 65 and older (by 2010) (see paragraph on age structure).
Now if you want to argue that of those 9,5 million 9 million will be dead by 73 (when WWII started) then you've got a point.
The population pyramid on the top of the page says different though.

So we just found out that the half million number is bogus.

Yeh.. My Mum is 80? (or something..It would be imprudent of me to reveal her true age even tho she goes line dancing a few times a week... !! (happy birthday mother!) She was a child during the war. How many people in a population of 60 million in the UK are over 80? Less than a million.
