General FOTL/Soverign Citizen Discussion Thread

Is this guy the biggest FMOTL/Sovereign citizen proponent financially? That's a lot of money that went through that company. Plus, how could you deny the existence of the United States of America when you spent years cashing their checks?

I think financially it's almost certainly Wesley SnipesWP, though there appears to be some question as to how much of their Kool-Aid he actually drank.

I don't think there are any words that could describe the two claims on this page.

It's like both these guys got a years supply of crazy and drank it all in one session.

Learning something new every day - from Chief Nanya- Shaabu El.

"Further, it is a known fact in accord with the Canada(sic) Oceans act and the Interpretations act that Canada(sic) is 12 miles square including the navigable waters – thus further proving, the court has no legal nor lawful venue, there is no venue on the land and Canada as a registered corporation in Washington D.C. has been exported to the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean"

You should nominate that one for a Stundie.

:jaw-dropp

I agree, that one deserves a stundie nomination.

Just read this in my favorite legal blog:

http://www.loweringthebar.net/2012/...ing-modification-fraud-plaintiff-alleges.html

In this complaint, David-Russell:: Myrland (as he writes it), who is currently serving three years for threatening public officials, charges prosecutors and DHS officials with (among many other things) "backwards-correct-syntaxing-modification fraud," whatever that might be. To be fair, he also charges them with "babbling-collusion-threats" and "grammar-second-grade-writing-level-fraud," and I might be willing to agree that DHS does those things if only Myrland had hyphenated correctly. As it stands, though, there's nothing I can do. Which is a relief, because now I don't have to read the rest of his complaint.

I consider myself quite intelligent. I understand many, many words. Now, thanks to FOTL and 'sovereign citizens', I have to admit that I didn't know what words like 'stupidity', 'idiotic', and 'moronic' really meant. Of course, thanks to those same people, I do now.

I'm left wondering how long it took the plaintiff to write that stuff. It's a work of art - mostly caps, *plus* underlining!

Generally, I'm for make work projects for inmates, but this?

Can he not take the time to learn something useful, growing vegetables, cooking learning how to fabricate office furniture. But no - this had to try his hand at the creative writing workshop....

Even learning to make prune-o would be a better use of his time.

And...here's another.

According to court documents, Storey is a member of the Moorish Holy Temple of Science of the World, and alleges that the court, both the district and United States, have no jurisdiction over him, due to his religious affiliation. In a document provided to the court, Storey alleges “AHMAD WILLIAM STOREY is a US vessel operating in commerce.” The document also alleges that the charges are the jurisdiction of the “Admiralty/Maritime jurisdiction”

Storey is facing charges in Hartford and Manchester courts as well, including larceny, drug sales, reckless driving, operation of a drug factory, and other motor vehicle related charges.

I've never heard of this Moorish Holy Temple of Science of the World.

Googling it, there's a good Wiki article.

The Moorish Science Temple of America is an American organization founded in the early 20th century by Timothy Drew. He originally presented it as a sect of Islam but he also drew inspiration from Buddhism, Christianity, Freemasonry, Gnosticism and Taoism, thus leading the identification to become known as "Islamism", and its adherents labeled "Moslems," as opposed to "Islam" and "Muslim" respectively in order to distinguish it from traditional Islam.

It ends with this bit:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moorish_Science_Temple_of_America#Twenty-first_century

Twenty-first century

An increasing number of people claiming to follow Moorish Science have filed false legal documents in various municipalities around the United States. The documents include fake liens, deeds, and property claims. The Moorish Science Temple has disavowed any affiliation with those filing the false documents, calling them "radical and subversive fringe groups."

So it's a weird American religion that seems to have fallen on hard times, and been adopted by the Sovereign Citizen types for their own purposes.

IIRC, there's one or two YT vids of some FMOTL guru or another dropping freeman science to a group of these dudes...

Moorish American Grand Sheik and Grand Mufti of the Moorish Science Temple of America???
By who's authority?

Yep..they sure changed the world at that meeting.

I did notice Rob panic at 8.10 and ask if he could smoke and if it was going on youtube.
Strange behaviour for someone who believes he is above statute law

I also like the line he uses, "any remedy has to be available and usable for people who are totally illiterate"

Yep, Rob knows his audience.
