Gangstalking- This Guy Really Needs Help

I heard about the gangstalking CT a while back & just stumbled across some videos by a guy who's taken it to a whole new level. Can't post links yet but go to Youtube & search for hendon700 & you'll see what I mean. Basically he believes he's the victim of a conspiracy by 'Satanist, Freemason, Reptilian Gangstalkers'. From his behaviour its clear he needs some kind of psychiatric help. I think most people who are heavily into CTs convince themselves its true either because it makes life more interesting or fits in with their political beliefs- far left, far right etc but when people believe the conspiracy revolves directly around themselves you know they've got real problems. From this guy's videos he's going up to people in the street, in shops, on public transport etc accusing them of being part of the conspiracy against him. How can anyone live with this level of paranoia. Plus if he carries on like this one day he's likely to start on the wrong person and end up getting a serious beating. While his delusions seem to result from a mental illness I think some of the conspiracy websites out there make matters worse for someone like this when they find out there are other people who think the same way & in some cases encourage them.

Cripes, he names his girlfriend and gives her address in one of the videos as one of those responsible. :( I flagged it as inappropriate, dunno if YouTube will do anything.
 
I first encountered this "gang stalking" stuff by exploring the YouTube channels and subscriber connections of some of the weirder comments on "9/11 truth" videos. There's lots of schizophrenics on YouTube who post "gang stalking" videos. I've seen them giving out people's names, license plate numbers, and addresses before as well. I remember one in particular (WolverineInfinity, account now closed) who followed fire trucks around and thought that the Toronto Fire Department was after him. It seems like a pretty big problem that isn't being taken care of, as these people could easily turn violent or get themselves hurt. But, I'm no expert on psychiatry or law, so I have no solution.
 
Isn't there a bit of a contradiction here? Somebody who thinks that they are being gangstalked puts up a video that anybody on the planet can see (well, anybody with the internet or a handy library)?

So somebody who is worried that they are being followed by zillions of people, suddenly decides to show themself to the entire planet, and expose themselves to potentially more gangstalkers. Great strategy.

I think that the people who post these types of videos on YouTube have long forsaken logic and reason. The reason they find solace in sharing their lunacy on YouTube is because they see other people doing it, and receive encouragement. There's a large community of people who believe in the "gang stalking" nonsense, and they continually reinforce each others' behaviors. It's quite phenomenal, and quite sad.

IMHO, it's mostly harmless, but the ones who go up to people and accuse them of stalking could be a danger to themselves or someone else.

I didn't notice that bit before. I assume she's now his ex girlfriend. Anyway I googled some of the terms he uses on his page as I was curious about where he might be getting his ideas from. I came across someone calling himself Gorilla199. From what I've seen he seems to be trying to set himself up as some kind of conspiracy guru- think David Icke but weirder. I used to believe in a lot of conspiracies but this guys ideas are so bizarre that even when I was most into it I don't think I'd have taken him remotely seriously. I can't imagine anyone other than the genuinely disturbed being taken in by this level of weirdness.

Ahh yes, that internet cultist who will post your personal information online if you try to "harass" him. He and his followers have many markings of a cult of personality.

BTW, is there some kind of intelligence service that alerts you to the uploading of gang-stalking videos? I mean how do you find out about them so quickly?

Haven't you got better things to do that scour YouTube for the bizarre?

No. Actually, gorilla199 is easily one of the most popular alien/Freemason/reptilian/Christian conspiracy theorists on YouTube.
 
There was a Washington Post Sunday magazine article a few years ago about a convention (for lack of a better word) of people who hear voices and who think that they are the victims of "gang stalking." Reading what the attendees said, two things stood out to me...
1) they all insisted they were not mentally ill
2 they were all mentally ill
 
A convention for gangstalking victims? How did the organizers manage to convince the 'victims' they weren't in on it as well? I'd be interested to know who organized this- was it people who believed they were being stalked themselves or simply someone taking advantage of people who believe this?

This is one of my favorite topics. I deal with people like this all the time through my job. The thing is most of them don't know that there is a whole "gangstalking" community out there. They just want to sue the police/fire dept/library/government/neighbour/etc. for mentally harassing them or whatever. Of course they don't have any proof so it can't go anywhere, but I usually don't tell them about gangstalking. I usually just tell them that to prove mental harassment they will need to see a doctor and get proof of the damages they have suffered. I think letting them know about the gangstalking thing would only make matters worse, but I'm not sure.

What boggles my mind is that these people say they sincerely believe this is going on. Yet, they do nothing other than post on internet forums about it, and act kind of sketchy. ( which , should i venture a guess, is either due to a lack of , or an overabundance of drugs. )

In all honesty , if i was convinced that this type of thing was going on, i would , you know, actually fight against it, as opposed to " fight" against it. Do they really believe that posting internet videos is going to help?

I would love to know the mental process that is happening here. No, i won't go all Mel Gibson 'Conspiracy Theory' , no i wont relegate myself to a Bruce banner esque wandering monk existence, what i will do is post online, so more government agents can see me more.

The irony here is only their lack of logic is keeping them from becoming violent, or at the very least people without homes.
