Rats. I thought I was close, Dad being from Yorkshire and all. Mind you, he be city folk. But he's tight as a gnat's chuff, so some Yorkshire traits are universal. Or Yorkshireversal. Or whatever.
 
And just in case I'm about to run into any kind of Pommy region confusion, I meant tight as in stingy, not drunk.
