Freedom of speech?

Proud Boys drove by my house again this morning and yelled, "you're going to die today, bitch."

That's what it's like to be a liberal candidate in a conservative town named Bakersfield. https://t.co/MDAWwMZqh7

Proud boys attempting to intimidate a liberal candidate for office.

Sounds like more than antifa brawling to me.

ETA:
Member of the #ProudBoys arrested for threatening to blow up a polling station in #NorthDakota. Last week, members of the #ProudBoys were doing security at a Trump rally in #Florida. https://t.co/iMZqweC927

No commentary on this totally a Proud Boy, Anthony Raymond? Here's some, Dickinson Police Sergeant Joe Cianni in an email to Newsweek:

"This is truly an isolated incident related to a serious lapse in judgement of one individual. We certainly have no reason to believe that anyone was (or is), in any immediate danger,"

and bringing it home:

Cianni described Raymond as an "intellectually challenged Dickinson resident" who is not believed to have any affiliation with the Proud Boys.

I don't follow your point.

I imagine a significant portion of the Proud Boys membership is comprised of mentally or emotionally compromised people. Fascist ideology is appealing to the unwell. Leadership who aren't mentally deficient still find these violent people useful, in fact they may be more useful than most as they are likely seen as more disposable.

I too question the pragmatic purpose of threatening to blow up a polling station in North Dakota, which is solidly conservative country. I would assume this person was acting on their own deranged motivations rather than any coordinated plot.

By the way, those interested in making a statement against antifa should remove the WWII Memorial on the DC Mall in its entirety, as well as plow under a large portion of Arlington Cemetery. Unless, of course, you wish to claim that the US did not fight fascism, and instead really waged a war Anglos vs Others. Might explain the lack of civil rights following the war, as well as the serious whitelash after 1965, and again during and after the Obama years. Would also tie into conservative talk radio and newspaper rhetoric of the time, especially before entering the war, and much of the deep hatred of Roosevelt on the Right. And then there is today's Confederate flag waving "party of Lincoln", OMG.

One or the other. Cake, and eating it, too, don't cut it.

After this many pages and threads, yeah, that is the problem. I've been pretty crystal clear. Upthread, for example, you claimed that the pbs were security for a Republican speaker. The 'proof' was a Twitter pic of a half dozen guys standing on a sidewalk. No proud boy regalia in sight, or security vests, or anything. Just some guys standing on the sidewalk. I don't find this compelling evidence. You don't see the problem, nor did you even respond.

Btw,the tweet that claimed Gaetz confirmed that the pbs were security at his event didn't elaborate on how they knew this. Following the links, Gaetz was asked if he knew proud boys were there as security. He said no. Not the greatest proof, I would opine.

Heres the thing. We are hearing here that the only good fash is a dead fash, and hear posters cheering and justifying the assault on Anderson. Then we hear the proud boys are in fact the fash. Then evidence is shown that the pbs are politically motivated, as we see with Raymond. The short trip here is : the fash deserve to be preemptively attacked; the pbs are the fash; and Raymond is a pb. My argument, over and over, is that none of these premises are true, yet they are all accepted. Emotional zeal is ghetto-raping rationality.

Raymond is a mentally ill and harmless lone actor, according to police. Yet what does the headline say? Proud Boys threaten to bomb polling place. And you bought it. That's a serious problem.

Yeah, that's what the cops said too. He was not a threat, no one was ever in danger, and he is not associated with the proud boys. So why did you link this in context of the discussion here?
