Conversion of CO2 by adding hydrogen into water and solid carbon, sounds almost like the free energy machine above. Downside is that the catalyst must be heated to 650 Celcius to work at all and then its only 10% effective.
The Bosch reaction produces only water and elemental carbon, allowing all of the hydrogen consumed to be recovered by electrolysis. This makes closure of the oxygen - carbon dioxide - water - oxygen loop possible.
