What people don't get is that adminstrators of an estate do get good fees (either agreed in advance or on a costs basis). It doesn't, however, follow that that person is heartlessly milking it. An ex-boss of mine had an historical case of a young woman who went into bankruptcy because of being in a vulnerable place due to a mental illness. He was on a good fee but this guy bent over backwards to try to give this client a break within the confines of the tough rules. Managed to stop the sale of her childhood home and I could see he felt sorry for her, despite all her angry letters claiming he was acting against her.
What I don't understand in the Britney case is how she was diagnosed with Alzheimers...? That sounds fishy to me. However, a key symptom of dementia is believing people are plotting against you. Not that I believe Britney Spears suffers from this.
