Are we still referring to deficit protesters, health care protesters, and LaRouche voters collectively as a homosexuals?

This "tea baggers" thing is kind of juvenile.....

It's the term they themselves first used to describe themselves. The fact that they were too stupid to have known what it meant is their problem, not mine. "Tea Baggers" it will remain.

I hear "teabag" and I think Halo kids who take the game way too serious.

Glad to see that there are reasonable people out there though.

When the term was coined, it was pretty clearly done so with a smirk and grin because of the sex act mostly performed by male homosexuals.

It was the teabaggers themselves who first talked about teabagging. I don't know if the noun "teabagger" was coined by them, or by Maddow, or by someone else, but the verb "teabagging" was coined by the teabaggers, and if Maddow smirked when she called them "teabaggers," it doesn't take away from the fact that the teabaggers themselves started it.


And - of course - not all homosexuals teabag (in the sexual sense), and not all teabaggers (in the sexual sense) are homosexuals.
