In case my position isn't sufficiently clear, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that France can conquer any nation that launches a terroirst attack against them.

As long as the only nation that launches a terrorist attack them is Andorra.

I doubt that the French could send an army a couple of thousand miles away and keep it there for 6 months or more.

I recall some discussion when Afganistan started. The thrust was that among those in the know, the idea that the US could send an army halfway around the world and supply it was something that was taken serious note of.
