It seems like only yesterday I was changing it diapers, I had been a fan of The amazing one for years, and when he started his weekly version of swift I was thrilled. So I signed into the forum immediately. I think it took me two years to reach 50 post even though I was an avid lurker.

Thank you Mr Randi for providing this place for skeptics to be a force on this crazy world of Woo Woo Woo.

This is a very good forum. People start some good threads and people are generally well behaved. The admins, who we heap human waste products on, are very tolerant.

It helps separate fact from fiction, reasonable opinion from unreasonable opinion.

We have successfully countered every claim made by a lot of people, some extremely weird. The higher the number of claims countered, the bigger success.

Y'all made a great forum. The smartest big forum I've seen on the net. I hope I don't break it.:p
 
This is the only forum that I've posted to for more than a year. It has changed a lot.

I remember the fuss regarding the first banning of a member. Paul Bethke or somebody? With his blinding list. (No. Not a very, very good list.)


It didn't damage the board, though.

I came upon the JREF forum after reading the commentary archives. Both are a great learning experience.
