Leno made a joke about Foley wanting to turn over a new page :)

Hey, who knew that Pagegap was a palindrome? Who knew it was a word?
 
If the Watergate break-in happened today, it would be called "Watergategate".

And if it was anounced tomorrow that alcohol was addictive, then people with this condition would be known as alcoholoholics.

I guess there will never be a "SexGate".

It's just too "informal." Not enough detail.
 
No -gate involved. To be a -gate, you need illegal activity, and coverups. Foley didn't even lie about it. Just took his lumps and resigned. No scandel involved.

This reminds me of the WC Fields or Groucho movie line "There was no scandel. It's a well known fact that Uncle Julius was drunk at the time!"
 
Actually, if you verify one of the e-mail stories to be true and if the person (Republican, thank dog - so it will have to be believed by the rectum breathers)who says he told Hastert several months back is not lying provably, you do have A)illegal activity and B)coverup.:) :) :)
