Now, I grant you, an IM history log would be fairly easy to fake, but it would almost be more work to do what Limbaugh's "windows people" suggest. Think maybe his "windows people" are part of his janitorial service?Well, I just heard Rush Limbaugh SUGGEST that these IMs were cut and pasted, and may not contain what their true intentions were. His logic is that AIM conversations can only be saved by cut and pasting the snippets into a word processing program. At least that's what his "windows people" tell him. Besides, why would anyone have the conversation log turned on anyways?
I keep my IM log on for a variety of reasons. The primary reason is that people send me links all the time and I like having the option of retrieving them if I need to. (The secondary reason is to be able to double check what Mrs. Upchurch said to me when I wasn't paying enough attention.)
When I have kids, I'm going to be the snoopiest parent ever. There won't be a data packet that enters or leaves the house that I don't know what's in it. Heck, I'm planning on chipping the kids with GPS trackers. The only thing that could make this funnier is if the parents of one of the kids came out and said "We log our son's AIM to protect him against perverts. We love our kids.".
