Finding Love Again, This Time With a Man

If I'm doing my math correctly, that would be a kindergartener for you, not a 1st grader.

38÷7=5+2=7 1st grade in NY

And the other way round is 38÷2=19+2=21 I must have divided wrong last time. That's totally weird and awkward, but legal.

Eta I did it wrong again, should have added 7. I'm tired and dumb today! Lol

10 year old for me...at least they could be entering puberty and one year better than Mohammad did.
52/2 + 7= 33....that's much better!

Well. This thread took an unexpected drift.

eta:

<----- Me and my daughter, not my (age/7) + 2 girlfriend.

I was working backwards: (18-7)*2 = 22 as the youngest age where the normal rule doesn't permit a non-adult, putting your age at 21. Using the alternate rule then gives (21/7) +2 = 5, which qualifies as kindergarten in much of New York:

But you still made a mistake: with your correct age, we get (38/2)+7 = 26, (divide by two, add seven) which is a little less awkward.

Additional trivia about the normal rule: it doesn't permit any dating for anyone under 14.

I like older men but working backwards from my age the ÷7+2 rule gets a little older than maybe would be even dating...

38-2=36*7= George Washington

The normal way is better

38-7=31 *2= 62

I don't think age alone is significant, but how many mental/emotional maturation stages the person has been through, some of which are related to age and some to life experiences. If they have enough unique shared experience and shared outlook on life, and have been through most of the same stages I don't see a big gap between adults as weird.

With just my spinal cord injury alone then I'm about 97.

I've known a couple of women who were raped and or abused, and even though I had at least ten years on them I always felt the opposite. For example.

So yes, I'd expect your injury to put your head further along the path than your age cohort peers.

My mother compares the various mental stage transitions to jello setting up in the fridge.

Dude I'm more like solidified fridge mold. :D
