Maybe Charlie let Daddy read the script.

sitting at home, but none the less went to prostitutes, is walking away from your film. I mean thats a definition of stupid, but none the less he's walking away.

Mate you are in sooooooo much trouble now. Cuban, Sheen walking away, Jones walking in. Wow. I actually pity you. Then I see that unsufferably smug grin in my mind's eye, and think of what you said to Jack Blood, about boxcutters, and all that pity melts away.

Man never in the field of human history has schadenfreudian been this sweet.

Riiiiight. It's so very logical to NOT promote your little film by announcing in advance the participation of a hollywood star. Much more sensible to keep it all hush hush and avoid all that annoying publicity you might attract.

uh huh

Someone on the LC thread had a good point: if LCFC is in post-production, the narration would already be completed by now, right?

It couldn't be happening to a nicer guy, but troubled projects are just painful to watch even from far outside, even with the balm of soothing schadenfreuden. (I'm still waiting for that Buckaroo Banzai sequel.) The ship isn't sinking (it never is), those rats are just leaving for personal reasons...

well, in most ways, the narration would have been done during production as a pre-lay (sorry, this is coming from aspiring voice over/acting experience) - meaning that the narration is done prior to anything is filmed.

assuming that anything was actually filmed my bet is you are correct. But does "filmmaker" Dylan actually shoot anything? All of the other LC's have been cobbled together news footage, are we expecting anything different here?

Actually in my experience (half a decade as assistant editor in documentaries) the narration is the last thing that is done. During the offline (rough cut) the director would record temp vo, and then a professional narrator/actor would come in and read the script that has been developed.

I'm not sure how it works in Do overs world.

That last line's a killer!
Has it been definitely determined that Cuban has left the building? All I've seen here on JREF are rumours.
Having seen that buffoon Jones shouting inchohately at Gravy, I can't see him being much good as a producer. Able to produce verbal [rule 8] doesn't really qualify him.
