I notice a lot of truther types seem to think al-qaida and OBL are just boogie men concocted by the CIA to justify the War on Terror or at the very least give little credence to the idea that Islamic extremism is a serious threat to the West. This denial can be used to shift the blame to the US, to attract potential recruits from people who are cynical of the politics of fear, or just for the sake of rejecting anything said by the US government/every news outlet on the planet.

I think a good solution to militant Islam denial would be for some of these truthers to travel to Baghdad, or Lebanon, or Pakistan. I'll bet if you offered truthers free plane tickets to these locations you wouldn't get too many of them taking up the offer for fear of beheading for being an infadel.

of course not. 99% of what little remains of the TM consists of chicken heart professors, and arm chair computer warriors. None of them have any intention of leaving the confines of their rooms or libraries.

Most have already travelled to Bagdad, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. Its all on youtube, playstation and xbox. Virtual travel experiences from your armchair. Aljazera are liars. They love us.They dont really behead civilians. Its all a CIA plot i tell ya. KSM doesnt exist. They never waterboarded him. It was all cunning subversion by the CIA to obfuscate and confuse the truthers into believing the gubmint did it. Then, once the NWO had enough of their plan in action they went into phase three of denial mode and put the master plan into action and began argueing about it on the internet. Its working a dream. They will never figure us out. We are too slippery for em.

You mean except for the ones who travel around the world appearing at conferences, giving speeches, and being interviewed on TV.

By your logic and to the spirit of the OP, you should respect Twoofies who do such things. But we all know they're reviled here, not recognized for the enormous risks they take professionally and personally.

I'm not sure that being interviewed by Russia Today, Press TV, or the Washington Times, is something one should boast about.

-----"RT itself claims to be funded by the Russian government.[15] A CBC News story contains allegations that RT is "a continuation of the old Soviet propaganda services".[2] Western commercial media, including The New York Times, routinely call it "state-run".[16]"

-----"Press TV is state-funded[6] and is a division of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)."

-----"The Washington Times was founded in 1982 by Unification Church leader Sun Myung Moon[1], who has said that he is the Messiah and the Second Coming of Christ and is fulfilling Jesus' unfinished mission.[2][3] Bo Hi Pak, Moon's chief aide, was the founding president and the founding chairman of the board.[4] In 2002 Moon said: "The Washington Times is responsible to let the American people know about God" and "The Washington Times will become the instrument in spreading the truth about God to the world."[6]

Truthers never miss an opportunity to embarrass themselves. :p

That's hardly the majority of outlets.

That's hardly the majority of outlets.

most of the news coverage I have seen, discussing 9-11 Truthers, has been from RT. RT is funded by the Kremlin and is related to Voice of Russia, which was started in the USSR during the 1930s.

one look at RT's website, and you can clearly see their very anti-American slant.

if I was a Truther, and considered myself to be a patriotic American, I would stay clear of Russia Today.

Enormous risk? I don't see how. Sure, most of them have ruined their reputations but whose fault is that?

And let's face it, Gage has been traveling around the world spreading the truth at some damned fabulous destinations. I know people who'd kill for his travel itinerary. I'm sure he cries himself to sleep every night worrying about what people think of him.

yes. what "enormous risks" do they brave truthers face?

assassination by the NWO? sodomy from fellow Truthers?

Not to mention laughing all the way to the bank.

You're right. I mean... their plane might crash, they might wreck their rental car, they could be mugged. Hell, there's even a chance they may get hit in the head by a meteorite.

We should be respectful of these enormous risks the rest of us are too cowardly to face.

Seriously, though, RedIbis... if you're as confident in your position as you'd like us to believe, isn't it we who are subjecting ourselves to enormous risk, both personally and professionally, by opposing your movement?

Risk? Tell it to real whistleblowers like Frank Serpico who was shot by a partner and left to die because he reported corruption in the NYPD or Danial Ellsberg who exposed the Pentagon Papers and who President Nixon asked to have killed and a bunch of others.

In 9 years, hundreds of people involved with 9/11 as eyewitnesses, first responders or investigators have died, many for the air they breathed at WTC. Many of them saw buddies killed in the collapse of the towers. Any of these people could have made a death-bed statement to the press to blow the lid off the criminal cover-up of the crime of the century.

For some reason, nobody has.

Damn that Dick Gage is one tough bastard! He's the Chuck Norris of Truthers. He doesn't travel the world taking money from the credulous, no! He is braving all kinds of danger to his life and professional reputation. If he wasn't so brave, maybe his wife would leave him or he might have to give up his thriving business as an architect....

Oh, wait...

get out much yourself ?

Well, the "Architects and engineers for 9/11 truth" are taking an enormous professional risk, since by supporting 9/11 truth they are exposing the fact that they are utterly incompetent in their professions.

Personal risk? Not so much. If the NWO hasn't managed to assassinate them by now, one has to wonder how they could have pulled off a complex conspiracy like the 9/11 truthers imagine.

When you consider that for the most part, the risk they take can be offset by simply saying something like "Hey, I guess I really was wrong. My apologies", then that really isn't risking anything at all.
