I sit next to this nutty woman at work. Now, I suppose it's possible to be both sane and intellegent AND be a "feng shui consultant" but this woman is neither. She just came over to me and asked if I wanted to see a Feng Shui cure. It's a picture of one of those curtain things that go around the bed.

I asked her what it's a cure for and she said to keep energy above from coming down. And beams.

I might not be spelling Feng Shui correclty, I myself am not a practioner!

I hate it when people say stuff like "it's been around for thousands of years!" Like that means anything!

Ask her what kind of "energy". Surely she can't mean it in the same sense that physicists do. Ask her how to measure this strange energy so you can make sure the thing works.

And as for the "it's been around for thousands of years" defense, so has bloodletting. Doesn't mean it works.

She said, oh um I"m not sure there's really negative energy above you, but what you want is harmonious energy and there might be something coming from your window and you might have to measure to find the center of the room and oh um um um um I Don'T KNOW!!
