Another in the never ending series of "holocaust" threads. The victims of Stalin vastly outnumber Hitler but they don't warrant as much attention or sympathy. You Jewish supremacists turn my stomach as if the suffering of Jews is more important than the suffering of others. The same hypocrites who mouth off about Salman Rushdie and THE SATANIC VERSES remain silent or approve of holocaust revisionists being sent to jail.
 
Nothing can be understood if "Eugenic's" influences remain disclosed. Eugenic's theories were extremely popular since the end of the 19th century and had a pure scientific appearance. The protection of the "Nordic race" and its supremacy was copied by the Nazis from the eugenist's writing in the USA and Sweden, rebaptised into "Aryan race". Jews also had (and have) eugenic scientists writing about the supremacy of the Jewish race. Some of the quotations above are out of context and were replies to concurrent theorists of the supremacy of other races.

The interconnectivities can be seen in articles of Eugenics Review, concerning compulsory sterilisation, which was a hot topic in 1933:


Eugenics Review, 26 (4), 1935:
Professor F. C. S. Schiller suggested that too much stress should not be laid on the defects of the German eugenical legislation or on the administrative difficulties to which it gave
rise. ...But these mistakes could be corrected, and should not
stand in the way of our recognising the great historic importance of the action of the German Government. The eugenics movement had been started in this country and
we had talked about it for some fifty years; but we had never succeeded in getting anything done. Now for the first time a great modern state had committed itself to a far reaching eugenical programme".




C.P. Blacker writes in "Eugenics Review 25, 1933; p. 157-159:

ELSEWHERE in this issue will be found a translation of the German Sterilization Act, which was made public on July 25th, I933, and which will come into operation on January Ist of next year. The implications of this Act will best be appreciated if it is compared with the,Bills which have been drawn up by this Society-i.e. the shorter Bill, limited to mental defectives, which was introduced into the House of Commons by Major Church on July 2ISt, I93I, and the wider Bill, set forth at the end of the Society's buff pamphlet Eugenic Sterilization, which applies, in addition to mental defectives, to mental convalescents and sufferers from hereditary diseases and defects other than mental deficiency and insanity.


The US Supreme Court in 1927 had decided in Buck vs. Bell cc. compulsory sterilization:

We have seen more than once that the public welfare may call upon the best citizens for their lives. It would be strange if it could not call upon those who already sap the strength of the State for these lesser sacrifices, often not felt to be such by those concerned, to prevent our being swamped with incompetence. It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime, or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind. The principle that sustains compulsory vaccination is broad enough to cover cutting the Fallopian tubes.





Concerning euthanasia; the Journal of Psychiatry, in 1942 wrote:

So the place for euthanasia, I believe, is for the completely hopeless defective: nature’s mistake; something we hustle out of sight, which should never have been seen at all. These should be relieved the burden of living, because for them the burden of living at no time can produce any good thing at all. . . . For us to allow them to continue such a living is sheer sentimentality, and cruel too; we deny them as much solace as we give our stricken horse. Here we may most kindly kill, and have no fear of error.


It is possibly also important to know that "Eugenics" in German means "Rassenhygiene", as there is no German word for "Eugenics". The first laws of Eugenics were released in Sweden (and the last ones which were removed in 1974), a Nobel price for Eugenics didn't make it by a 8:9 minority of votes.

During the period then the ideas of supremacy or inferiority of certain races, the erradication of "feeblemindeds" and "social ballast individuals" were popular belief, supported by scientific journals and societies. The Nazis were everything but an exception during their beginnings, in contrary, their system was appreciated as modern and advanced state. Regarding the Supreme court ruling FDR certainly saw nothing problematic in racist remarks.

Those details of history were covered to let appear Nazi Germany as an exceptional system of criminal intentions. It was certainly the most criminal, but not the only one.

Goethe wrote to the President of the American Breeder Association in 1934 after having visited Germany:

"You will be interested to know that your work has played a powerful part in shaping the opinions of the group of intellectuals who are behind Hitler in this epoch-making program. Everywhere I sensed that their opinions have been tremendously stimulated by American thought...I want you, my dear friend, to carry this thought with you for the rest of your life, that you have really jolted into action a great government of 60 million people."
