I was reading up on this the other day on CNN (http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/22/justice/florida-fbi-shooting-boston) and noticed a paragraph toward the bottom that caught my eye.

"Both men were members of the mixed martial arts forum Sherdog.com, along with Russian-Canadian boxer-turned-jihadist William Plotnikov, the source said."

The reason this caught my eye is the fact that I too am a member of the mentioned forum and have been since 2007. I quickly went over to said forum and it was already out and a buzz with the fact that Tamerlan had been a member and in fact his account had been identified: http://forums.sherdog.com/forums/members/tzboston

What's sad, or maybe ironic, are a few of his posts in a thread about fighters thanking "god" for winning a fight:

There is a big difference between committing an act of terror in the name of god and thanking god for giving you the strength to win a fight. The existence of religious extremism does not warrant censorship of religious belief.

wtf....why a history book? Are you implying that if a fighter reads a history book they will no longer have faith in god? Maybe you should pick up a bible or Koran or some ****.

Throughout his other posts you can see he seems to be just another avid fight fan, and the posts above he doesn't seem to be an extremist...though, these were in 2007 before presumably becoming radicalized.

Just throwing out an odd bit of info, was weird for me to find out I possibly crossed paths with this guy over the years. Anyways...

I'd expect them to meet with him to take him into custody immediately upon identifying him as a murder suspect connected with a self-avowed terrorist bomber.

Would you prefer they waited until morning when he left his house? Sometime more convenient, like lunch or something?
