Faking the Rapture!!

who's up for making fake rapture videos and posting on youtube on mar 22?
Ideas
Fill blow up dolls full of helium and release them (expensive)
Lay out full sets of clothes in parks (like people left their stuff behind) and film that.
Here is an awesome idea, for us guys get two sets of our own clothes, must be very identifiable as men’s clothing and lay them out like they were holding hands.
 
The target audience will be American so I suppose the first signs of the rapture should be in some place far away.

The exotic angle adds authenticity.
Don't ask me why, but for instance the story about the oil drilling creating a tunnel to hell where you could hear the screams of the damned, was supposed to have taken place in Siberia.

Also cool: use Orthodox Jewish clothes.

Add a fishing line small enough to be invisible by camera, and it ain't that expansive anymore as you can reuse them and "hold" them back.

I think its a fun idea. I'd recommend making the content obviously satirical. If it looks too real, I am convinced there are some people out there who will believe it, and do something drastic.

Find way to imply that people other than christains are being taken.
Gays and Muslems for example
 
Throw in some clothing symbolizing the seven deadly sins along with the other religions. No crucifixes or crosses allowed.
 
The idea that the 'rapture' would leave clothes behind is strange to me. If you're going to go that far with the idea, then why would the bodies even disappear? Wouldn't your 'soul' just go up to heaven, effectively leaving a bunch of dead bodies behind?

My first thought in that video would have been: What!? Why did they all go off to a naked orgy without telling me?

Well there was a loony with a Mar 21 sign in Dublin today, until he was taken away, so maybe the insanity is spreading.
