I have no argument against that. I only have a twitter account at all so I could read something from someone some time ago. I haven't even actually made a tweet of my own, only liked a few things here and there.

But everyone's social media teams were having a blast with this.
 
CNN: Around six hours after Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram went down, service started coming back online, though coverage was still spotty.
 
I'm having trouble connecting to random sites today, some while searching for news, many are large well known sites. Did this problem affect other sites?

Being a semi-religious belief system, they just keep repeating the prediction while trying to re-interpret it down to something different that what they used to claim it means. So it's gone from 10 days of actual darkness over the planet earth down to a three-day internet outage, after which Donald Trump will be president again.

Yes Facebook no longer has its thumb on the pulse of today's world, unlike *Checks notes* late night talk shows and *checks notes* news sites that use the word "lampoon."
 
Old media trying to create the narrative of a Facebook outage as some sort of "The day we the younger generation got unplugged from the Matrix" thing is already getting old.

Just hope that the filters in the HVAC got those metal particles out of the air before something bad happened. :(
