Face, meet leopard. Leopard, meet face.

"Seeing others react to the horrors I helped bring about by voting Dump was really funny, but now he's affecting me! Halp?"

Please help me.
Change your diet, lose weight, exercise, and hope Donnie Diapers dies soon, and the liberals you depise restore your health care.

I wouldn't bet on any of that; you ◊◊◊◊◊◊ yourself.

If this thread isn't enough entertainment, I wholeheartedly recommend r/leopardsatemyface.
I am just wondering... does anyone ever follow through the initial social media posts (on twitter, facebook etc.) to see what people's reactions are?

I know places like here or on Reddit they will likely belittle and mock the idiot MAGAchud who voted for Trump and got burnt. But do they manage to find sympathetic people when they post their "woe is me" stories among people who should be "their type"? How do their fellow MAGAchud react (the ones who haven't been hurt yet...)

A former school buddy (Indian origin) who was hardcore MAGA and was one of the MAGA candidates contesting in the local school board elections had until two weeks ago a Facebook page that celebrated his MAGA participation. When I checked last week his entire account seems to have disappeared....wonder what happened. Considering that both he and his wife are immigrants...I wonder if recent events has made him rethink his alliances and decided to "erase the evidence".

Better advice:

Go die in a ditch. It will be the first good thing you've ever done.

Ok, I'm not much of a twitterer so maybe I'm wrong here, but the wording of the tweet made me suspicious. That account doesn't exist.

Could just as well be someone who deleted their account because there were ridiculed by too many people. Or who maybe decided to drop the cult altogether, although that's really unlikely. As for wording, it did seem a little over the top to me, too, but her description of her illness and situation sounded really specific, which was what made me decide she was real. Or I could just be naïve, who knows.

I spent a few seconds in the cesspool, which is how i found the handle redacted in the screenshot above. I don't find any other tweets, replies, or anything that indicates that account ever existed. And as you say, the wording is suspect. That an exact illness was indicated could merely be the author being familiar with the same condition and salted the mine to make it sound real.

I know it's a bit quixotic, but while we live in the age of disinformation, Truth has to be priority #1, no matter where it falls.

You missed an underscore (or the account was cloned). But it looks more like a scam or a Poe than a genuine account.
ETA: This is a different account, the tweet is not identical ('of' instead of 'off').
I saw that. As near as I can tell, it was created to support the tweet, like a retrofit (see the account creation date)

This was the version I went by. It was the first instance of the tweet I saw.The time is earlier than the one you cite. Note no underscore in the handle:

Hamtramck residents with ties to Yemen react to U.S. attacks on Houthis rebels

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (FOX 2) - President Trump ordered weekend military attacks in Yemen, which killed 53 people. Many Yemeni people live in Hamtramck, who supported Trump during the election, but now feel betrayed.

Many Yemeni people in Hamtramck supported Trump, including the Yemeni mayor who just got an appointment as an ambassador. Akil is equally worried that if he goes back to Yemen as a Trump supporter, he could face repercussions.

Gee, that's so unfortunate. GO. ◊◊◊◊. YOURSELF.
