Explosion at the Boston Marathon.

I just found myself changing channels looking for a little relief from the coverage, and eventually found a commercial.

Sweet, sweet mindless advertising...

Apparently the entire Boston PD couldn't find the man in the boat until a woman told them where to look...

There's a reporter apparently close enough to see some of the scene; he's saying the boat is floodlit by spotlights, and they've heard the police shouting at someone to come out.

They're being pushed back further now, but heard no response from the suspect.

Is that the same reporter the police are complaining are trying to sneak in too close from around the back and are preventing any action?

Pardon me if this has been covered, but I heard that a third suspect was arrested at the scene of last night's gunfight (where older brother died). The details included that the suspect was forced to strip naked before being taken into custody, to ensure he had no explosives.

This was reported on one of the two local NPR stations around 9:35am or so.

I'm not surprised if this was just nonsense, but has anyone heard anything at all similar to this?

Another moment of glory in a week of glory for CNN.

And I smell another can of whup a-- for CNN being opened by Jon Stewart.
Stewart doesn't do a Friday show.

If the best segment they can come up with on Monday is a repeat of Wednesday's show, the writers slept through today and it will be a very uneventful weekend.

He was unrelated and just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was released about 30 minutes later.

I meant the action of the older brother. And if the younger brother knows he's doing it expecting to die and to help him escape, running over him doesn't matter so much.

Though I agree that part was most likely panic.

I wonder if they were both supposed to detonate at the shootout, but younger brother changed his mind.

There was a period of time when a third man was being questioned, but I didn't hear of anyone being forced to strip naked.

Asked to remove some clothing yes; when you're worried about explosives being strapped to a person's body, it just makes sense to remove an article of clothing or two in order to be sure that the person isn't strapped to blow.
