Explosion at the Boston Marathon.

"Watertown resident Andrew Kitzenberg told MSNBC in an interview that he had seen one of the suspects use an explosive device in the firefight, and that he had seen one of them "go down" after charging the police while firing, either tackled or shot.[69] Several sources report a suspect was surrounded by police and ordered to strip completely naked before being arrested and taken into custody. "

Right, but... if Thing 1 was shot, half blowed up and run over, then to die later in the ER, does that sound like a guy the cops stripped and then questioned in the back of a car for 20 minutes?
Yeah that's what I thought too... bizarre

News is reporting that the one that is still alive, possibly holed up in a house in Watertown, is a 19-year old from Chechnya who lived in Cambridge for a year.

(So much for my hunches. I wuz wrong, wrong.)

So, are these two part of a bigger network, or was it just the two of them?

Apparently there were some suspects taken into custody (temporarily presumably) who were not the suspects.

Only 2 AFAIK, though one is dead now.
Three, one suspect dead, one naked guy arrested and another suspect on the loose. Personally I think the police is just a bit on edge with the recent bombing and cop killers ain't popular either. You're smart enough to build bombs, stay anonymous for several days, giving you a chance to flee and almost get away with terrorism and then you go robbing a convenience store? Come on.

So it looks like they were indeed still in the area, and putting out the pics must have put pressure on them to move.

Not that I disagree with the poster who was objecting to releasing the pics and our internet sleuthing.

They must have felt pretty comfortable to hang around when they must have known they were photographed at the marathon.

According to Wikipedia there are only 379 Chechens in the United States. I don't know what compelled me to look up facts about Chechens, but yeah...

I don't know how accurate the Wiki article is.

Wow.... at first glance, that just sounds ludicrously low.
