CNN reported his custom license plate read "TERRORIST 1"
They will question him WITHOUT reading him his Maranda Rights.
This has just been announced by ABC News.
I may be wrong, but I think it's unlikely anyone in authority actually told ABC this.
But assuming that everyone knows that they have a right to silence, what good does denying them that right do them? You can't force someone to speak, at least legally. Or is it just that saying something incriminating can still be used against you? Because I would have thought that would be quite unnecessary here.9:27 p.m.ET: Federal law enforcement officials will invoke the public safety exception to the Miranda law and not offer the suspect the right to remain silent during his interrogation, ABC News has learned. The exception is invoked in instances in which the public is at risk of a clear danger.

Because Massachusetts does not have a death penalty, and I don't think (but IANAL) that the fed death penalty can override that. Also there may be alot of legal play ahead like Malvo did.
Well, this has been the liviliest April 19th Massachusetts has seen since April 19th 1775....
I thought I had misheard...

It can. None of MA's laws will have any play on this case.
It's possible if he agrees to plea guilty, they let him off, but I personally would be opposed to that, and the USG doesn't have to agree to any plea.
I'm shocked that they got him alive. I didn't think he'd let himself be captured. Great job by law enforcement here.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's twitter feed in PDF format. This is for the captured suspect.
