Explosion at the Boston Marathon.

Boston Marathon: Explosions

News is reporting 2 large explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Lots of injuries possible casualties.

I have MSNBC on at the shop. Looks like they caught the actual explosion on video.
 
A friend of mine was running there....

ETA: She says on FB "I am ok - my family is all ok here in Boston - the bombs must have gone off about 20 minutes after I crossed the line."

Colour me relieved.

This is so terrible. I've run Boston multiple times, and there would have been thousands of people there, and still out on the course.

They want you to think it was a gas explosion. (Heading off the conspiracies at the pass.)

This is an awfully sad start to the week, and for the good people of Boston, a tragedy that will forever be tied to an annual event that brings them great pride.
 
I'm going to bet domestic terrorist with pipe bombs for now.
 
Hearing unconfirmed reports about a fire at the JFK library, a third explosion and other possible explosives. Likely that a controlled blast or something they police were not sure about.
 
See, this is what happens when you outlaw bombs. Only outlaws will have bombs.

If all the people there had guns in their hands then they could have died with guns in their hands, which is even better than dying in their sleep.
