Never heard of this school. Some of the restrictions are outrageous.

Three weeks before graduation, he said he was informed by the Dean of Men that he was reported by another student for watching TV off-campus, and would be facing another round of demerits.
He told CNN he was at an off-campus Starbucks, drinking coffee and watching "Glee" when he got called into the office and asked what he had been watching.
"I didn't lie to them. I had been watching 'Glee' since my freshman year, I didn't think I had anything to fear."
Though there are no prohibitions in BJU's student handbook against watching TV off-campus (on-campus TV viewing is not allowed), Peterman said that he was given 50 demerits because of the show's "morally reprehensible" tolerance for, among other things, homosexuality.

Not that any of us needed it, but another reason to avoid Bob Jones Uni.

It says right there in section three, subsection four of the covenant: "Some tastes are indicative of such maladaption of character that pursuing them must be met with expulsion, if not execution. There include Britney Spears, The Jonas Brothers, and Glee."

Funny, Mrs. The Shrike and I watch Glee with the kids specifically because we want to instill in them that we find intolerance of homosexuals to be morally reprehensible.

It seems to be more about his activism against the covering up of sexual abuse at BJU.

Well, if you go to a school named Blow Job University what should you expect?:jaw-dropp

I did a Google search on the school - one of the hits was BJ university cheer girls. Thought it might be a laugh to see what they get up in

Needless to say it turns out the BJ did not stand for Bob Jones

I have visited Bob Jones University when my sister was thinking about going there. (She went to Baylor instead) It's a seriously strict fundamental Christian school. They don't allow any radios or TV's in the dorm rooms, and you aren't even allowed to hold hands with your girlfriend.

They are like crazy religious.

Their parents could be forcing them to somehow. Even though theyre adults, some of these religions and their followers can do some real :rule10 up :rule10.
