I thought that your post was insightful....I liked your explaination of how most of those people filling that niche, know each other...and validate each others work...,that can't be good...

On the other hand,,,professional courtesy is good....and if they sat around being ultra skeptical with one another they would bust down the whole structure they are building.

Yes it would. Unfortunately, we have to work with what we are given to work with.
Maybe that is supposed to be part of the challenge.
 
We have a way of compensating for our unreliable senses and human fallibility. It's called the scientific method and peer review.

I have stated whats in it for me....I want to hear the voice of my duaghter again...and I am asking all the questions and listening to all the answers by and from many different sources.....

I did a search on a couple of online bibles and could find no mention of tape or audio recording devices of any kind. Perhaps you could quote the section that says pink noise on audio tape that sounds vaguely like a voice is infact a demon?

My intention is simple...to seek out a way to do this in the most efficient and simple and moral way ...not out to wreak havoc with the bible pushers, nor condescend to you seasoned woo woo filters.....I am so glad that you are there....an extra set of eyes and ears if you will....anyone interested in trying a group think experiement...something...I dont' care what,,anything....the idea would be...to show that a group is capable in doing more than one person......if we all had the same intention that is....

That must be a dreadful feeling? Just the hope against all hope that you'll hear Emilys voice? ( apologies if her name isn't Emily, it's just I saw you posted Emily's mom) Endings stink don't they? I haven't lost a child thankgoodness but have lost people very dear to me so I can understand that 'to here their voice again' feeling you have.

I just think this......if there is an 'otherside' those on the otherside know all about ratonal explanations. They would surley know that those of us who have lost someone would give our back teeth for something, anything, that could not be expained away rationally with absoulutley no room fotr doubt. Take my nanny for example. On the otherside unless she had, had, a personality transplant she would be hounding Randi to death. She wouldn't wait untill he played a blank tape with a message for Sharon she would hound him morning noon and night, and the TV stations, she would interupt the night news with a message from the other side saying, 'Sharon, your bloody hair will fall out, lay off the hair colours'. Seriously, nothing would stop her.

I'm just trying to say that 'if' there was an afterlife surley they would know our heartbreak and they would provide something that was totally beyond explanation? Leave no reason for doubt?

I wonder Sharon that just because your Nanna would want to break into the TV broadcast if she would be allowed to....Maybe they have to behave...gosh, mabye they don't even have all the answers and maybe they are just like when they left.....only seperated by the viel....alot of stuff that we don't understand...
I do not (Not believe) in an afterlife....I am just am so curious and don't see why that should be a problem as long as I don't dwindle my eaarthly resources on the quest for the carrot on the end of the stick....don't get me wrong, the carrot is pretty and hey anything to get me moving...ha ha..but I want to be driven by something real not an artificial religeon or a pessimistic resolve that we are the be all end all and that when my little girl asked me at age 4,,,"Mommy, when we die are we just dead meat?" and I told her,,,Oh heavens no, our bodies will die sure, but the part of us that is really US goes up up to be with God...hope I did not lie to her....
 
Its just alot easier to say Naw that cant be true..

I would not have thought it possible for the weather to rain frogs had I not seen it for myself on the weather channel....water spouts suck the little guys up then they rain down many miles away......pretty paranormal upon first take..but not really when you work out the mechanical details...they go up...then they go down.....O.K.

so...this brain of ours....our own personal computing device...is like a terminal and the spirit in the sky is the main frame....

We are also all connected dontchathink?? so why can't we just try to get through to the other side or go back to the source...why does it have to be impossible??? I personally just don't beleive that any of us are trying hard enough or with concerted effort to achieve this backwards communication.

its not my daughters voice though...just her name and questions posed to this Cathy person asking her if she knows my daughter on the other side....send me a pm and tell me your email so I could send it to you if you like O.K.

I am trying to post the file for everyone to hear....I might need some help, currently the audio file is attached to an email in my trash....so I tried to move it back to in box....having trouble with that....don't know why I'll keep trying

so I did the attachment thing..then after several minutes of uploading a messege came back saying...I can not upload audio or wav files to this messege board..so if anyone wants to hear it pm me and I'll send it to you just like I am doing for this person
