I don't know if his opinion depends on his employer. I think this is a case of a high school graduate, "morning zoo" DJ who continually evolved his historical / political perspective over the last decade. Fox offered him a position because he was becoming increasingly supportive of their views towards the end of his CNN run.

So, I'd say a good part of it is Beck's employer depending on his opinion. That isn't to say that Fox didn't influence him.
 
Fox didn't influence him! He's already leaving Fox at the end of his contract, so they've got nothing on him.

Yeah, this. The Birther thing doesn't involve him, and he'd probably prefer it if his viewers concentrated on his brand of crazy.
