Eugenics supporters?

On the contrary. I was actually giving a far more accurate description of what was wrong with the question. It's not a matter of beliefs being taken to unethical extremes, as you put it. That's wrong. There is no extreme to take evolutionary "belief" to, because there IS NO belief about what "should be" associated with evolution. To assume there is is to mistake a descriptive theory for a prescriptive idea.

I was referring to the practice of Eugenics being taken to the extreme-not the belief in evolution.

One of my favorite movies is Jean-Jacques Annaud's "Quest for Fire". The movie shows a number of different tribes on different stages of evolution, and how they compete for survival.

I didn't see one that reminded me of blacks (whatever that is).

Let's see if I follow the logic:
Evolution => Eugenics => Racism => Wrong

I like the way this works. How about:
Jerome Da Gnome => Eating toast => Lunar orbit => Donkeys => The Macarena => Racist => Wrong

After all, I'm sure you've eaten toast with people who thought about lunar orbits. Some people who think about lunar orbits also think about donkeys. Some of those people do the Macarena and are racist. And we all know racism is wrong!

Hmm... I guess that's not very fair, is it? But my logic is as solid as yours...

Well, well. You have found an analogy that does not exist. I am sure if you tried you could come up with something reasonable; instead you have made a mockery of your own argument.

Eugenics is not racist by purpose, just by circumstance.

Tribes throughout history have devised reasons for promoting their own tribe; what make you think that today is different from yesterday? Has man evolved beyond the tribal?

Sorry. I do not speak gibberish. If you could somehow shoehorn your thoughts into a logical argument and then express that argument in English, I'd really appreciate it.

Are you saying that eugenics is a circumstantial consequence of evolution?

Ever wonder why the artist renditions of "cave-men" have big lips and dark skin?

It is about the promotion of the idea.

I was sitting there a few years ago, having fantasies about full-lipped women. Women from Africa have big lips, statistically, obviously. So, too, do Asian women. And women from India. And Australian Aboriginal women. And North American Native women. And Mexicans. And South Americans.

Holy crap.

They don't have big lips. :eye-poppi

Europeans have small ones.

We're sexually inferior to the species. Well, most of us are, though some of us are blessed.

All the talk back in the day of eugenics to 'improve the stock' etc. Of course, the negative eugenics program talked about removing stock of those 'inferior races/classes', evil stuff like that.

Clearly, its time we started blaming cattle farmers for the evils of racism.

Ah, that's not clear in that post. I should note also that when I said 'the question is mind-numbingly ignorant," I was referring to the very first post by Tai Chi, not yours.
