Trump's problem is that The Right has branded Epstein as part of the Pedophile Cabal that helped Clinton harvest babies for adrenochrome.
If they had stuck with the fact that he was a creep funneling teenage girls to rich creeps, Trump's base would just praise him has a Stud who's money and power entitles him to get the first pick of the hottest and most fertile females.

I joked and asked "which 14 year old did Epstein poach from Trump?" As ever the truth is stranger than the fiction.

But the most important thing to remember when discussing the predation, grooming, exploitation, trafficking and rape of children is that Donald Trump has the bestliest spa, and some of the staff are 'a but on the young side'.

It's not accurate to lump Epstein with pedophile offenders but I hesitate to even give it a special label 'cause to me it just seems like what most kings, nobles, conquerors and other high status men of the past did when they had the opportunity. The American colonies probably had an "Epstein" in every town where young slave women were sold.

and poached her to do what? epstein didn’t own a spa. he was supposedly some finance guy for billionaires. so what does he need with a teenage spa attendant?

It was a joke - it really doesn't matter whether he was a paedophile or an an ephebophile, or none of the above, but there are people who will disucuss that to deflect from the reality; Epstein was a predator who preyed on vunerable young girls, a criminal and a sex trafficker. It had nothing to do with any droit de seignuer, he was just an awful human being who did not care about anything other than his own desires. As is Ghislaine Maxwell, btw.
 
Not to ruin the fun, but this whole affair is quietly undermining the justice system. People only obey the law if they have confidence in it's fairness. I'm an ex-CTist, but I have to admit it's hard not to question Epstein's suicide at this point.

1. We were told the video cameras covering Epstein's cell were not functioning that night, and there is no footage. Then a few weeks ago the FBI released footage of the cell - minus three minutes. Where the hell did the footage come from?

2. The federal judge ordered an investigation into Epstein's death. Did he know about this footage, and if not, where the hell is he now? That's contempt of court, someone needs to go to prison for withholding evidence.

3. Was there a client list, or just Epstein's address book?

4. Why have three different DoJs under two administrations been content with hoping this story just goes away?

5. Why is Maxwell being moved to a low security prison?

Maybe I'm just asking questions, but jeez.
 
to me it’s clear that they’re currently conspiring to hide trump’s involvement with epstein. it’s less clear to what level his involvement was.

whether he was murdered or killed himself is also even less clear to me. recent events have left me a lot more open to the possibility than i was previously

it’s pretty wild to see.
 
Most of those questions are I think adequately explained by what Alan Dershowitz, Brad Edwards, and other lawyers who've seen private documents suggest.

It's super embarrassing/damaging to be associated with Epstein at all, and most of the explicit material said to feature minors or women of uncertain age would not have to be proven accurate to make Epstein associates look bad.

My guess is that's the main reason they would hide it even if there was no conspiracy and even when the lawyers who've seen the files say Epstein himself was the primary client. And even if they could not prosecute and find any of them guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Epstein's own death does seem like a really freaky series of events but I'm pretty confident he just hanged himself in an unorthodox manner.
