When counting your many flaws, "inability to read" should definitely be included.

Kimpatsu,

Will you please provide evidence for your claim?

:D

Just do it or don't, but please quit whining about it.

I don't know what your definition of skeptical is, but being willing to try something doesn't contradict being skeptical, Rolfe.

Please spare us your views about her. They only get us further from the scientific issues at hand, Rolfe.
I checked as to what she actually said.
PROF. MADELEINE ENNIS (Queen's University, Belfast): I was incredibly surprised and really had great feelings of disbelief..... I have no explanation for what happened. However, this is science. If we knew the answers to the questions we wouldn't bother doing the experiments.
You can argue whether what I said was a fair summary of that attitide, but I think it was. And please point out where I said that being sceptical meant that a person would be unwilling to put something to the test.

I can post my personal opinion of the lady if I want. You don't have to read it. I think her behaviour extremely peculiar, and I'm entitled to my opinion.

Rolfe.

Madeleine Ennis and her Belfast Trial are featured in the latest edition of New Scientist in the UK as number 4 in the '13 things that do not make sense' article;

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I did a search for some of the terms I remembered from the article that I read in Tesco's, but only came up with this thread.
