Emoto crystals

Concerning Dr. Emoto and his crystals,

Hard rock music certainly could affect crystal growth. Vibration is a well known concern in legitimate scientific fields involving crystal growth. But, yeah, it's 50% a crock.

1. Vibration (music, etc.) can affect crystal formation.
2. Thought (prayer, etc.) can't.

More than 50%, I would say. thought, prayer, words written on paper, regardless of the language...

Would someone care to explain how unfrozen water can have "crystals" in it in the first place? Surely he is using distilled water, so that his very scientific tests are not skewed by impurities in the water, right?
