Say, here is another article for the whitesplaining Warren fans to ignore:

“But that distinction actually cuts to the heart of why Native Americans are so upset with her. Fundamentally, their anger is about what it means to be Native American — and who gets to decide.”

Why Many Native Americans Are Angry With Elizabeth Warren

Hopefully some white folk can tell us how happy they were with the dna test that told them they was white!

Hmmm... from your link

"The Eastern Band Cherokee’s statement was supportive of Ms. Warren, saying that she “has not used her family story or evidence of Native ancestry to gain employment or other advantage” and that she “demonstrates respect for tribal sovereignty by acknowledging that tribes determine citizenship and respecting the difference between citizenship and ancestry.”
“Some people who have family stories or evidence of Native ancestry have sought to appropriate Cherokee culture, claim a preference in hiring, claim that their art is ‘Indian art,’ or advance their careers based on a family story or evidence of Native ancestry,” Principal Chief Richard G. Sneed added in the statement, which argued that Ms. Warren had not done any of those things. “We strongly condemn such actions as harmful to our tribal government and Cherokee people.”

Seems not all Cherokees are "slamming" Mrs Warren

Perhaps in future, you will read the links before you post them, you know, so that you don't embarrass yourself again.

Damn, that is some next level cherry picking! Good for you, now address the rest of the article and all the other native Americans slamming the racist.

Did you read it? Kim was angry at the American people for being stupid and thinking DNA tests had anything to do with tribal membership, not Warren. She's also NOT MADE TRIBAL MEMBERSHIP claims which some of the other quotes you've been trotting out are condemning. Whitesplain that strawman on your own.

Say everyone, a wild challenger appears! We have a claim from a whitesplaining that Kim Tall Bear was

Not

Angry at Warren.

Say, let’s take a look!

Awwwww. Thanks tho, for splaining?

(Kidding of course, that assertion about the American public is spectacularly specious, even for racists)

This is important because if you look at Trump's challenge (paraphrase)" If she would take the DNA test, you know, the 2 dollar test you see on TV and send it in, if it shows Indian ancestry I would give her a million dollars" she didn't do that. From what I know of the 23 and me test, her trace amount wouldn't have shown up, perhaps why she didn't accept the challenge but hired a guy to do a more rigorous test. My conclusion is that while she does have a Native American ancestor, she is not owed a million dollars.

Read the last line of the post you quoted.

Do you understand what "not all" means?

Read the words “cherry picking” given the fact that the overwhelming weight of native Americans are aghast at warren and her racist supporters.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my boring results.

But Warren hasn't claimed to be a minority for some years. I understand being upset at 1990s Warren. But 2010s Warren doesn't seem to be claiming to be native American.

Um, did your subscription to any news source stop in 2010? She just released a slick video claiming that junk science showed she had na heritage, which sent many native Americans into orbit about her fraudulent appropriation of native identity despite the fact she is just about the whitest whitey in white town.

A claim of heritage isn't a claim of identity. I'm not culturally appropriating from the Plesiadapiformes.

From your link:
Dr Kim Tallbear said:
“The American public doesn’t understand the difference”

The doctor also isn't from either tribe Warren lore has ancestry in.
Failing New York Times said:
And so when someone like Ms. Warren emphasizes undocumented lineage over tribal citizenship criteria, said Dr. TallBear, who is a member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate tribe in South Dakota, “what they’re telling us is they are privileging nonindigenous definitions of being indigenous.”
Which is still a strawman, because Warren has never claimed to be a tribal citizen. I never did either, and stopped listing NA heritage on forms when the forms started asking for tribal affiliations and I realized it meant identity rather than an ethnic background. That didn't happen until well after 2000, and well after Warren stopped checking the box. Well before 2012 when Brown decided it would make a good weapon against his political rival.

The American public line was chastising WARREN for her scam based on junk science and a profound misapprehension of Native American concerns. Not surprised that you grossly misrepresented that tho.

Never said one could claim she was wrong? Sure about that?

Oh, was it a general "you"? I thought you meant me. Yes, I said one could do that.

Oh I get it. Your claim is now unsubstantiated, which is in line with the facts. How dare I argue with your previous claim of a claim of "wrong"?

Well try this: do you think her Cherokee claim is substantiated or not? You already said that it isn't, and that's exactly what I was saying earlier, but somehow you disagree with me!

the answer "Peruvian isn't Cherokee" to the question "How is she wrong to think she has a Cherokee ancestor" would clearly indicate she doesn't have a Cherokee ancestor because her ancestor is Peruvian.

No, it doesn't "clearly" indicate this. I should've written more words perhaps, but that isn't what was implied. Why can't you take the clarification and run with it, instead of insisting that your initial understanding MUST be correct?

I'm capable of agreeing with the factual content of your post while disagreeing with the incorrect content of your post. I don't think it's a remarkable trait.

It was THE SAME CONTENT. Don't you get it? You can't simultaneously agree and disagree with the same exact thing.

Trump and supporters:Lol, take a DNA test Pocahontas, we dare you! Are you afraid to be caught lying?
Warren: *takes test and proves she didn't lie*
Trump supporters: Oh, well, wait... ah, yes... RACIST

Oh, was it a general "you"? I thought you meant me. Yes, I said one could do that.
You denied it when you thought I meant you, but now agree that you said it. Calvinball, 2 bazillionty points to Belz...!

How dare you disagree with my incorrect claim but agree with me when I change my claim??!?! More Calvinball points!

How dare you respond to what I wrote when I wrote it, instead of responding to what I would write later in my clarification?!?!?!

Wrong =/= unsubstantiated. I can disagree with one and agree with the other. They are not the exact same thing, and I think you would be aware of that.

Oh, my god. You just can't help yourself. You just can't have a civil discussion, can you?

Let me help you:

I said that it was possible for someone to make that argument reasonably, not that I would make it myself.

Do you have trouble understanding simple English?

How dare you disagree with my incorrect claim but agree with me when I change my claim??!?! More Calvinball points!

What the **** does "calvinball" mean? <checks> I didn't change the rules as I went along. You're the one who just didn't understand what I meant. Is that so difficult to accept? Are you done personalising the discussion? Are you Warren's lover or something? Did I hurt your feelings at some point?

Wrong =/= unsubstantiated.

I'll grant that one. I wish you had said that earlier instead of all that nonsense you're typing.

Calvinball is a game invented by Calvin and Hobbes. Calvinball has no rules; the players make up their own rules as they go along, making it so that no Calvinball game is like another.
