Edward Snowden conspiracy theories...

His girlfriend is pretty and pole-dances, therefore...conspiracy?

A conspiracy of a conspiracy? You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! Damn you all to hell!

This paragraph sums it up nicely,

Conspiracists are reflexively skeptical of the “official narrative,” even when it should confirm their worldview. Snowden should be a victory for them, but because the mainstream media and the government are corroborating much of what Snowden leaked, the mainstream account immediately becomes suspicious.

I hate to use a cliche that truthers have been spouting for over a decade but...

When are all these Conspiritards going to WAKE UP!?!?!?! Seriously, when are they going to realize the sheer stupidity of EVERYTHING being a conspiracy? Ah, but maybe that's the secret evil nwo plan all along...get these dolts spouting everything is a conspiracy, then when the REAL HAMMER drops, everyone will just brush it off to CT nonsense...the plot thickens...

I've said it once and I'll say it again: the only way conspiracy theorists won't see a conspiracy is for nothing to exist.

Here come the Edward Snowden truthers./

I didn't see a thread about this, which seemed strange. So please delete or merge if this is a duplicate.

Snowden is a conspiracy theorist. How can there be conspiracy theorists making conspiracy theories about a fellow conspiracy theorist? It would be a singularity of woo, and the world would end.

Is Snowden on Game of Thrones?

Seems to me that CTists are a bunch of illiterate nincompoops.

If you wanted to find hints that Snowden's story is a load of nonsense, why not point out the pivotal role of a character named Snowden in (hint, hint!) "Catch-22"? And also the question Yossarian famously asks, "Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?"

Any CTist worth his salt should be able to spin that coincidence standing on his head.

The best thing about Snowden's case is that he, like that louche Assange, has punished himself. I can't imagine a worse place to be stuck for months than Moscow's International Airport.

Sic Semper Proditores!

Thing is Snowden doesn't fit the CT narrative. He hasn't been disappeared or died in an 'accident'. The mainstream media hasn't swept his claims under the carpet leaving it to a few brave souls on the internet to reveal the truth so how can he possibly be real?;)

He also hasn't revealed any truth behind their "big conspiracies" like 9/11 so just like Assange he must be a shill or afraid to reveal "The Truth"™.

So the hot Russian spy proposed to marry him. Suddenly there is a whole new angle to why Snowden might have done it.

The plot thickens! We've got the setup for a great Bond movie here.

You're forgetting the "it's quiet, too quiet=conspiracy" angle.
