I posted a thread to ask about plans for donations from LTW/Loose Change - when the film gets a cinema release - to charity. The thread seems to have vanished - I've posted details below in case it was a tech problem - but, first to the question I'm interested in:

In a previous thread, Dylan Avery said that Loose Change/LTW would donate more to charity than came from a number of other films, inc. 'United 93'. Universal has donated over $1.25m from 'United 93' towards a memorial - so will LTW/Loose Change be able to donate over $1.25m after the cinema release? That would be great if they could.

Prediction alert - you are basically right, and Avery will quite soon deny the whole 9/11 CT and admit his "error". This way he stays fairly famous and keeps some dignity, though of a different kind. Many Americans - those who don't really know his games - will be all over him.

The alternative is too horrible for anybody with a living brain cell to countenance, so he'll avoid that like the plague.

I guess he has some interesting stuff to look at for the
final cut - but at the same time i get the feeling that the
whole issue is falling apart like a house of cards right now.
 
Have you seen the preview for final cut? There's nothing about the film, it's Dylan in a suit going around and asking whether or not they've seen his film. There's hardly anything about evidence or whatever...
 
1. Doubtful of a March release if it is to be in Cinemas, as we have seen nothing in terms of advertising, and it is mid January.

2. Prediction: Movie is released. It will recieve a little fan fair, an initial surge. MSM will get a hold of it, tear it to shreds, and then it will become one of those 15 minutes of fame things.

However, I am also predicting, as I have before, that LC:FC will be so watered down c/w the original LC, that it will barely, except in name, be the same film.

I predict Dylan goes full LIHOP or even less within 2 years.

All this coyness about money just hammers home to me how unlike a political movement the "truth movement" is.

For example, if you're interested in the finances of the UK Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, you can just click here and look at their accounts. They also have a democratic structure with elected officials and annual conferences.

There doesn't seem to be anything like that transparency in the truth movement - just lots of disparate groups led by dictators with DVDs to sell and inclination to tell you what they're doing with the money.

That's cool, especially since Stone and that crowd apparently are taking the money and running. I can't find the thread it was in. Can someone help a noob out and give me some details on this? Give away 239 copies of the movie each day for one week. Given their MSRP is $17.95 then
239 * 7 * 17.95 = 30030.35

Funny thing is, most of those DVDs could have been found shortly after in the nearest trash receptacle.

So in reality, they could have stationed someone at the trash can to fish those out and probably could have kept handing the same ones out the whole week.

The only news I hear about the LC folks is filtered through others, but are people really talking their claim of a national theater release seriously? From what I hear, it's all just talk...

Heh. I keep imagining LC:FC coming out and actually supporting the official story in the vast majority of points. Oh how the Truthers would howl with rage...
