Dylan Avery AP interview

I really find this obsession of yours with Dylan Avery slightly disturbing...

Have you really nothing better to do?

It's not obsession, it's called sharing a joke. And as far as jokes go, Dylan's a doozy.

Oy vey. I'm only 10 minutes into the Do Over clip and it's so pathetic that I almost feel sorry for the misguided little loser, er, "Looser".

Almost.

I like your corn dog :D

I finished watching it. What a colossal waste of time that was.

While it is obvious that Do Over Dylan is a barking loon, it's also clear that he has no media savvy whatsoever, has no interview skills whatsoever, has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to the events of 9/11, and has no concept of how stupid he looks, sounds, and is.

It is still a bit surprising, though, that he makes so many ridiculous assertions that he knows were debunked years ago, all the while stumbling over his words, biting his lips, searching the ceiling for answers, freezing like a deer caught in the headlights of a car, repeating himself excessively, meandering off topic in typical twoofer fashion and then struggling to recall whatever goalpost-shifting train of thought got him there, etc.

Oh, wait. No, that's not surprising, actually, since his only purpose is to try to flog his crappy video in the U.K. since he couldn't sell it in the U.S.

But it is pathetic, and quite a spectacular FAIL. {insert appropriate FAIL photo here}

I'd say this one is appropriate for do-over Dylan and his followers:

Three VERY VERY interesting parts of this video.

When the interview is interrupted by the guy walking into the room, watch Dylan. He almost loses his mind. Watch carefully. He has to regain his script mid paragraph as he lays his head back, breathes heavily and then rejoins his script. He really has to cue up the train again and jump back on board.

Anyone notice this? Almost like he's not actually speaking his actual thoughts or words, that he is merely repeating a script, something implanted or drilled into him by repetition? That is actually very frightening and speaks a LOT to the mindset of a CTer.

It gives a glimpse into why they are not able to excise material as it's debunked. They are incapable of editing their thinking, their implanted script.

The same thing happens when he talks about Moussaoui and 2004/6 and Sybil Edmunds.

I can't be the only one who noticed this...

What time in the interview does this occur.

I just watched the first 30 seconds and decided I'm NOT spending 30 minutes on this...

He messes up a couple of times and restarts. That's common for interviewees who are expecting the interview to be edited properly, especially nervous speakers like Dylan. He said on LCF he didn't realise it was going to be released uncut.

its common amongst these people.

THIS is a transcript of a presentation that william rodriquez gave at the "American Scholars Symposium" in summer 2006. the similarity to THIS (an interview rodriquez gave to james whale a year later) is quite revealing. essentially the first is almost a script of the second.

I particularly enjoyed his mention of the Shanksville wreckage, and I paraphrase: "There was no plane. I mean, there was a plane shaped hole and bits of metal scattered around, but no plane".

What about, regarding Bin Laden's confession, 'We've never gotten the original.... we've barely ever gotten the original audio.' Okay, so you've got the original audio, is that what you're saying?

It's like claiming that suicide bombers wearing explosive vests don't exist, because all that's found are heads and limbs and pieces of vest, or that the shuttle Columbia wasn't destroyed, because only pieces of it were found.

...and because what was found, the truthers were not given unlimited access to.

Indeed.

I think the interviewer was a little soft on him, but she certainly gave him enough rope for him to hoist himself by his own petard....

better watch using words like "petard", it makes some people think we are idiots.

Didn't he originally say he found out about the conspiracy when researching 9/11 for a fictional movie script he was making? Now he always knew something was screwy?

And I thought he said the Pentagon was the easiest sell for conspiracy? Now it's the twin towers?

Why wouldn't they? Gee...Maybe because I have my doubts that every single person in the administration and lower leveled people have zero soul or conscience.

Now Bush probably didn't know about it?

And then he goes into the Mineta testimony. He must love ignoring the start of that part of the testimony, where Mineta says that the Shoot Down order was still standing.

How does anyone take this kid seriously anymore? His theories have more holes in it than Swiss Cheese.

BTW the whole someone walking in and flustering Dylan to start over is around the 9 minute mark. He pretty much starts from the beginning word for word. It really does seem like he tried to memorize a script before this.

LOLOLOLOLOL!
Dylan actually had to stop the interview to ask the AP reporter if he was pronouncing a word right!
He seemed confused as to if he was even using the right word/word correctly!
I think it was "incredulous"
HAHAHAHAHAHA
:D
