Drinking and Hanging out...

This sounds like it might be my speed. I don't know what I'll be doing at the time, but if one of you sees me (I look like my avatar) drag me wherever you're going.

Jeff, are you going to wear that shirt the entire TAM? (Warning folks, if he's only got one he's going to be pretty ripe by Sunday.) ;)

(Ladies and gentlemen, adjust your spreadsheets. Post deux).

The husband (aka "bob") and I would like to join y'all. We both have a "too many years & too many seats near the speakers" disability. We're coming in on Wednesday, hoping to do the Thai dinner (Friday?). Other than that & the meeting stuff, we're free (or for a minimal charge).

So we're looking for one guy wheezing; one guy stinky, is that it?

This really sounds like just the thing! A piano (or quiet) bar would be better than a room anyway. Beds are fun for some things, but sitting for for more than 10 minutes or so without back support is no fun. I'm in, and Kim may be in for a while as well.

I'm been to/by two piano bars on the strip and just learned of a third. There's one in New York New York, and it has been there for several years now -- very popular. They have the dueling piano players that start their singing requests for $$$ around 9 or 10pm. It gets quite loud and crowded, plus there's a cover $10 methinks it was last. Paris also has a piano bar. I didn't go in it but it seem a little more upscale, but not as crowded. The third piano bar is at Harrah's, and it looks to be the same as the others. Quick tip, any place you go, especially on the main strip (piano bar, lounge, etc.) expect to pay no less than $5 for any alcoholic drink.

Zep - Penfold's "Grange" will do nicely - certainly no complaints from my end. Oh - anything nice from the Margaret River in a Shiraz will do...
Yeah, Grange, sure. My house mortgage wouldn't buy one bottle... But then, I do live in a small house.

OK, coupla bottles of good red. A Shiraz and a Cab-Sav, I think.

I learned that wine in a box, although economical, is not preferable to a bottle.

Carlo Rossi is best suited for the wine bong. It has the wide mouth and a handy screw cap. Plus you can amuse all who will listen with your wine jug musical skillz. Take that, Peter Vella and Franzia!

So much to learn... when the box o' wine is done with, do you suppose one could fashion the bag into a sort of wine bagpipe?

I prefer bar-less hanging myself. I will accompany fowl and more than likely chasing23.

There's a skepchick pyjama party if you're intereted.

Either way, I'm a bit apprehensive about having to bail chasing23 out of jail.
