I did post links.
I continue to consider possible harm in the context of indoctrination in schools that children have choice of gender before the choice is remotely appropriate.
It is also in the context of New Zealand currently engaged in worst practice in everything concerning sex self ID, anti conversion therapy, teaching of science math and literacy, revision of classic texts and so on.
It is an appalling landscape. Dragtime story hour looks so far out of place to grand parents watching this, after being equipped with all the above skills routinely.
It is heart breaking to all of us, (not as a grand parent).
I am heartened that there is a less bleak view from the American progressive liberal belt that post this thread, but it looks woefully blinkered to me as a former left voter.

Outside of crocheting it on the pillows in the waiting room I'm not exactly sure how much clearer conservatives have to make "I deeply care about freedom it's the freedom to hurt other people and literally no other time" at this point.

That's why everyone on the Right stopped arguing and just turned into a troll in the last few years. They've given up on having an actual point of view, even a massively wrong one, they can argue. It's all a flex about how they can do anything they want.

"Freedom" as a concept that any emotionally mature, intellectually honest person would recognize the concept is gone, replaced with a childish, petulant, reflexive "You can't tell me what to do."

Even that wouldn't be so bad, it's that they simultaneously hold "you can't tell me what to do" and "I should get to tell you what to do". If they stopped after the first part it would just be childish, going on to the second makes it insane.

This is a time where a huge cohort of humans understand the west is in the grip of a massive lie.
This is unique to the west. It is now, a discussion about Drag shows should not preclude discussion about uniquely contemporary medical procedures associated with factually venturing where simulations served until a decade ago.
I consider Dylan Mulvaney to be a one man drag show.
I doubt he would demur.

The contemporary medical procedures are testicle removal as an example. In the past this was not done.

Republican attorneys general issue warning letter to Target about Pride merchandise

Seven U.S. state attorneys general sent a letter to Target on Wednesday warning that clothes and merchandise sold as part of the company's Pride month campaigns might violate their state's child protection laws.

Republican attorneys general from Indiana, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and South Carolina signed the letter, writing that they were "concerned by recent events involving the company's 'Pride' campaign."

The attorneys said that they believed the campaign was a "comprehensive effort to promote gender and sexual identity among children," criticizing items like T-shirts that advertised popular drag queens and a T-shirt that said 'Girls Gays Theys.' They also highlighted merchandise with "anti Christian designs such as pentagrams, horned skulls and other Satanic products."

The letter also criticized Target for donating to GLSEN, an LGBTQ+ organization that works to end bullying in schools based on sexual and gender identity. The company stated in a 2020 guide that school staff should not tell parents about a child's gender or sexual orientation without consulting the child first, something the attorneys general said undermines "parents' constitutional and statutory rights."
