I thought that was an odd claim. One thing I wouldn't expect to see in a drag show is titties.

Not actual ones, anyhow.

I mean, speaking of hope springing eternal, I suppose the definition of drag would encompass e.g. female performers dressing as Tarzan, but I'm pretty sure one would need to attend a different genre of entertainment for there to be any likelihood of seeing it.

What Samson is likely referring to is this :

Transgender TikTok influencer Rose Montoya, accompanied by another unnamed transgender activist, shared a video on social media showing themselves going topless on the South Lawn of the White House during the Pride Month event.

The White House swiftly condemned the action, stating that it was inappropriate and disrespectful for any event held at the presidential residence.

Montoya had also recorded her interaction with Biden himself in the video. The activist smiles next to the President and says, “It’s an honor, Mr. President. Trans rights are human rights.”

The video where Montoya goes topless with covered nipples quickly gained attention and generated widespread criticism. Many users expressed their disapproval and accused the influencer involved of disrespecting the White House.

In response to the video, a spokesperson for the White House issued a statement condemning the behavior and confirming that Montoya and others featured in the video are banned from future events.

That was like...so confusing, from a censorship standpoint. Two bio females (trans men) who had breast reductions had nips out and proud, but the bio male (trans woman) with silicone implants was covered up. Have they covered Boob Display on That Thread? I can't figure out if a man with implants should be covered up, or a female with a reduction allowed to flaunt. I think we can all agree that toplessness should generally be universal, anyway?

A big step forward will be to separate homosexuality, which does exist without a disputed nature, and transgenderism which is an unholy mess.
My brother was discovered by his girlfriend dressed in women's clothes, I remember clearly the panicing phone call, and soon after he was bloated with estrogen. We had no idea till then. Since he died in 2005 it is too late to unpack into drag, transvestism, auto gynophilia, transgenderism,
transexualism or something else.
He was unmarried without children so it was less complicated.

interesting thing i learned from the response to this one is a lot of these right wingers feel like if a trans is hot enough that they want to **** her, then they should be allowed. that's why they make exceptions for the passing ones.

I did extensive reading on paraphilia and “forensic sexology” some years back. One author noted that in societies that allowed open sexual experimentation with their children… That nothing was hidden or labeled disgusting or unnatural…. There was almost no incidence of paraphilia.

I certainly believe in extensive reading as a simple reason I would be keen for you to expand, particularly if transvestites and drag culture were encouraged, or alternatively permitted in these societies.

I have no prejudices, he was an adult around 45.
There was no change in how the family interacted.
He passed as a woman because he was described as such by people who could not have known either way.
He was not thought of or described as a drag queen or a transvestite, indeed there is no particular catagory I could nominate.
He was definitely not dangerous to anyone, that is certain.
I guess I could not imagine a person less likely to wish to perform in a drag or any show, but he may well have been more authentically vested in passing as a bio woman.
