Having been banned form the B.S.O.D. forum myself, the conclusion has to be that you are simply not allowed to question whether dowsing works. You are either a true believer or you are banned. I did not resort to any name calling or insults. Simply raised the lack of evidence base, and highlighted the fact that the Prez had been called as a defence witness at the trial of Gary Bolton (GT200 fake detector), which seemed to be very dodgy behaviour. I admit that in doing so I was trying to cause a schism in the B.S.O.D. by getting other members to disassociate themselves from anything other than water divining.
As pointed out, the B.S.O.D. forum seems quite inactive, with few posters other than Pegler and Gardner.
I did also email all the B.S.O.D branches querying the involvement of their Prez in the Bolton trial. As to be expected, I received little response, but hope it did sow some seeds of discontent.
They recently held their conference but see no news about this on their website. Strange as would expect if it was a roaring success with big turnout they would be boasting about that.
