Donald Trump

Forget everything you thought you knew about Trump rambling. Forget everything about Project 2025.
It's all part of a brilliant deliberate strategy: The Weave! (And no, it's not about his hair!)

Looking forward to that day when all the random delusions he's been spewing for years suddenly assemble into a coherent point. Maybe he could grab a big hammer and say "Asininities...assemble!"

I see that Trump Media Stock now trading at $18.08 $17.47 a share.

As Trump himself might say, wrongly but confidently, it'll be because we've all become so "acclemented" to his idiocies that idiocy will be the default. (Link is to a Huffpost article, via MSN, featuring Stephen Colbert's take on, among other things, RFK and the whale-head)

I see it closed at $16.98 a share. Trump and the insiders may sell September 19t. The day after his sentencing in New York. I'll be surprised if it is selling above $10 a share by then. I smell another Trump business failure.

There were two purposes for T****y Media "Group". 1) Scam poor people of their money and 2) allow rich people to bribe T****y, also using poor people's money.

Putin just endorsed Harris for President. That's gotta set Donnie Boy seething, as they were best friends and all. Of course, now the MAGAnuts are going to do an about face and scream "SEE? A Communist endorsing the Communist!!!"

Conveniently forgetting who Putin backed the last two rounds, I suppose.

Eta: it might, just might, be an ingenious reverse psyche. Since everybody hates Putin, they'll go against his choice?

Putin isn't a communist. He's an autocrat who will do anything to remain in power and rule be force. But they're too stupid to know that.

I don't believe him. He's either doing it as some kind of ruse. Or he has concluded that Harris is going to win so he's preemptively dealing with the government he expects.

No, he didn't; Putin wasn't serious.

“We had the current president, Mr. Biden, as our favorite but he was taken out of the race. He recommended all his supporters back Mrs. Harris, so we will too,” Putin said with a wry smile and an arched eyebrow.

Russia wants Kamala Harris to win the U.S. presidential election, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday in a teasing comment that cited her "infectious" laugh as a reason to prefer her over Donald Trump.
Putin made the ironic remark a day after the U.S. Justice Department charged two Russian media executives over an alleged illegal scheme to influence the November election with pro-Russian propaganda.
Before President Joe Biden withdrew from the race, Putin had said earlier this year - in another comment widely seen as not to be taken at face value - that he preferred Biden over Trump because the former was a more predictable "old school" politician.
U.S. intelligence agencies believe Moscow actually wants Trump to win because he is less committed to supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia.

Putin would like to see the USA brought down by Trump the same way the USSR was brought down by Yeltsin, who was supported by the West.
In early 1992, prices skyrocketed throughout Russia, and a deep credit crunch shut down many industries and brought about a protracted depression. The reforms devastated the living standards of much of the population, especially the groups dependent on Soviet-era state subsidies and welfare programs. Through the 1990s, Russia's GDP fell by 50%, vast sectors of the economy were wiped out, inequality and unemployment grew dramatically, whilst incomes fell. Hyperinflation, caused by the Central Bank of Russia's loose monetary policy, wiped out many people's personal savings, and tens of millions of Russians were plunged into poverty.

Yeltsin helped to channel the aspirations of Russian nationalism in ways that did not lead to clashes with the nationalisms of other national groups within the Soviet Union. As head of the Russian SFSR, he stressed the specific interests of the Russian republic within the broader Soviet Union. ... Over the course of his presidency, he made increasing concessions to right-wing ethnic Russian nationalism by expressing growing concern over the fate of ethnic Russians in neighboring countries.

"Donald Trump is 78 years old. If elected, he will be the oldest person to ever be sworn in as President of the United States. He is a man that is suffering from, I think, pretty obvious mental decline," says Chris Hayes.
‘He just says stuff’: Trump in ‘obvious mental decline,’ says Hayes (MSNBC on YouTube, Sep 6, 2024 - 6:33 min.)

Trump on kids (or 'childs') having sex-change operations at school, post-natal abortions/executions of children, and two minutes of his rambling answer to a question about the specific legislation needed to make child care affordable (2:40 to 4:42).

The thing is the wrongness has to be something of a deliberate affectation at this point.

This isn't weird esoteric stuff you have to trust the experts about. 99% of what Trump says is happening you can disprove yourself by going outside and walking around for 5 minutes.
