No. He meant it as a viscious attack on me everything I believe in. Rand fan has always been like this, never caring about anyone else and never apologizing. Hell, he doesn't even understand deadpan humor, much less be able to create it. That is why I have so little respect for him and his so called "jokes".

But in the spirit of forgiveness (trying to stay on-topic with the thread), I'd like to apologize anyway. I'm sorry, RandFan. I'm sorry you're such and unmitigated evildoer. If I were a superhero, I'd take my spoon and do something about it. But I'm not. Alas.

I'm under no illusions. Politicians lie. I'm sure someone can reel off a list for Obama. And I would like to see such a list if anyone has one for comparison purposes. I'm certainly not immune to confirmation bias.

But Romney does it so often, so blatant, sometimes I wonder. Some people actually believe their lies. Does Romney believe this stuff or is he just so willing to say absolutely anything to get elected?
