If he believed what he spoke he wouldn't be so publicly active - he'd be hiding in Idaho.
But he's a masochist. This is what makes him a hero. He said on air that if he was taken out he'd be the next Malcom X. It gives his life meaning to believe in this stuff. He feels that he cannot run away to some foreign land, because this problem has already gone global. He feels that the only way to defeat it is to raise awareness. He's read to die and ready to survive. He fancies himself a leader of the next great American revolution. And, who knows, maybe someday he will be? But who will he lead? Could you imagine him as a leader? What kindof decisions would he make. Makes me think about folks like Ron Paul, who sound great, but at the same time are kind of scary because they would just throw on the brakes and think the inertia will be worth it.
I know Jones is absolutely opposed to the bailouts, but sometimes I wonder if the bailouts kept our economies alive from certain disaster. They still remain to prove themselves. Could you imagine doing nothing, though? I can't prove a negative, but I am convinced that Jones would blame the downfall of the economy as his long predicted disaster. This didn't happen, our governments did, indeed, bail out the banks. So now, the government is in on it, and is basically turning both fully communistic and fascist at the same time! And we all know what happens when matter and anti-matter meet, right?
Jones never loses. Either way, the news is always disappointing. He has a talent for exposing your fears of a waning future, and just shows you the worst possible news everyday.
I think he believes himself, quite strongly. He has been positively reinforced in powerful ways. If he is accepted, he is right; if he is rejected, he is even more right! He must feel so smug. Fire alarm, or is it? Either way he knows how to prove the Bilderbergers are bad with popcorn in the microwave.
But, whatever, that's just what I think...
