Do you belive there will be an Impeachment 2.0?

Everyone keeps forgetting that Russian election tampering went FAR beyond a few thousand dollars of Facebook ads. The election systems of more than two dozen states were actively hacked. The DNC was actively hacked. And the Russians were caught red-handed (sic) by the Dutch intelligence services doing so.

Nobody that I know of actually contests the methods they employed.
What seems to be contested is how much their efforts actually succeeded.
The remainder is a question of how high on people's priority list it is to actively fight against.
And lastly. Would the priorities to address it be the same if the election results were reversed in 2016

Countries that interfere in our elections care nothing more than how it benefits their national interests. Their win-win scenario in my estimation has less to do with the "R" or the "D" that runs the white House and more to do with seeding doubt in the integrity of our electoral system. On that matter, they have clearly made progress. Given that it's taken almost a central standing in the Democratic committee's impeachment prosecution, and has been subject of a fierce critique of the 2016 election before this impeachment issue ever became serious

It's actually more than just elections we should be concerned about: We also need to be concerned with Russian (and other) trolls trying to foment division and spreading BS conspiracy theories.

And I would like to think that were the election results were reversed then the GOP at least would finally decide to give a damn about it......but who knows about that party of Traitors anymore.

Hey, it doesn't matter if a politician takes a bribe, because you can't prove he changed any behavior as a result, right?

Admittedly, I've heard people make that claim, but....um....no.

Did he think think it would help him get re-elected which was for the good of the country?

Kinda hard to stop that without at minimum the perception that established platforms are also trying to control the flow of information as well. What's really needed is a voter population that's educated well enough to be able to show at least a reasonable amount of skepticism towards conspiracy theories and fake news that pops up.
