The Dunning-Kruger effect is, as I understand it, considered a form, manifestation, or symptom of narcissism, so we're probably in agreement.
You might be able to argue that it's a symptom of narcissism, but I don't think it would qualify as a manifestation or form of it. D-K is more akin to "you don't know what you don't know". It's not a reflection of self-involvement and an exaggerated sense of self. It's more a reflection of not having the yardstick by which to measure one's self. At least, that's my understanding of it. I could be wrong, it's not my field of expertise and the interwebs can only get one so far
