How someone can claim to be a Christian and not believe in a real Satan is beyond me.

Not believing in a Devil is even more ignorant than not believing in a God.

I think the Devil is a real being (ok, bite me), but I have seen people perpetrate much evil on their own. I've seen Xtians hurt each other (including moi, "one of their own" and "terrorize" non-believers and especially atheists). I don't give the Devil any power over me and I'd kick its buttock if it has one.

Why 7%'ers? Because 93% of respondents favored keeping "under God..." in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The masses, in the US at least, are against you.

I believe "Tyranny by the masses" is something the people of this country are not unfamiliar with.

The descendants of Islam are from the family of Ishmael (family of Abraham) of the Bible. Allah is the same as the God of the Holy Bible.

A lot of Christians feel differently. In fact, I've noticed recently that since The Passion came into theaters, the Christians and Muslims have been competing to see which God can produce the most miracles.

A little American girl sees 10 angels surrounding her, a Saudi child is born with a birthmark saying "Allah" on his face. Not to be one-upped there is a report of lightning striking an actor on the set of The Passion, then a sheep is born with the words Allah and Muhammed written on the side. Etc. etc. etc.

Not trying to be judgmental but I take it KS_SKEPTIC has this thing for Bush? Or perhaps he thinks Bush is the devil? Just curious.

Believe in the Devil? Nope. But a fundie-Christian once said I was a "tool of Satan" so I kind of wish that there was a Devil. I'd feel so special knowing that he goes out of his way to manipulate me directly, rather than pawning me off to some lesser demon.
